Lets talk about Hawthorns problems

They now have 6 losses. If this weekends results go as expected they will only be in the top 4 on percentage. They won a lot of games by big margins, they looked very good in those games, and some people started designing "3peat" t-shirts.

But more often than not in games where the opposition has had a go and not surrendered, they have lost. To me it appears that they just do not have the hunger to get into dog fights.

A dog fight, or 2 or 3, will await them in the finals. I do not see them winning 3 games in a row against teams that are desperate for a win.

Right now the momentum is with West Coast and the Bulldogs. I think those will be the grand finalists.

I think he'll be suspended for the first week for sure, already went for 3 this year, and this one was far worse, incredibly dangerous.

Otherwise, at least Hawthorn learnt that they can't carry Duryea (sic) in this finals campaign, disposal not reliable enough yet.
