Sydney were silly to trade out Mummy for a bag of chips (pick 40 odd from memory) but they had salary cap problems after signing buddy and Tippet in consecutive years and GWS could have taken him in pre-season draft if necessary. While I'm sure we'll be fair, fortunately we hold the cards on this one ala the Cripps / Brown deal saints were pushing for a couple years back.

Lycett under contract plus a ruck man = more value than Jetta out of contract / 26 and a soft outside receiver.

Sinclair is contracted til the end of 2016, so why would we be paying overs to trade in someone under contract, with someone else under contract? Redden wants to come to west coast primarily, not the other way around, and it's not as though sinclair has demanded a trade, it just makes no sense whatsoever that we'd be paying overs.

It seems a bit of a piss take if I'm fair. I will be very very surprised if we trade out sinclair and our 2nd pick just to receive redden. Simpson isn't stupid enough to make that trade
