Life of a Melbourne supporter

The perfect storm of:

- Bad luck
- Bad management
- Downright bizarre

The overall frustration as a supporter comes when the board and club execute keep making mistakes but you only learn of them after the fact and you have no real power to make a change. The average supporter only gets a vote in board elections here and there and the candidates all sound great at the time.

And it's not like most Melbourne members haven't cared. Members from all ranges of wealth have tipped in to debt demolition, both the working class and upper class fans that so often get slammed in public. As members we've discovered a lot of the things on this list but really had little chance to change them.

We had a hero who seemed to engage the members and was working very hard to reshape the board and the club in Stynes and he was blind sighted by some and before he had the chance to correct or prevent a lot of mistakes he was severely ill.

It's a hard knock life!

Lowest average score since 1920
First time a team didn't kick 100 points in a game at least once in a year since the 1970s
20 straight losses at Docklands

And that's just this year. Yikes.

At least their kick ins have worked for them over the years.

For 7 years no opposition coach has been able to combat the long kick to an outnumbered Jamar tactic.
