Suggestion Main Board "Questions That Don't Require Their Own Thread Thread"

Hello

I was just reading this thread: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/last-time-both-western-australian-teams-both-lost.1100179/ and it got me thinking. Obviously a thread like this doesn't need to be posted on the main board but where else could a question like this be asked? I thought a sticky like this thread: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threa...dont-require-their-own-thread-thread.1067051/ could solve threads like these being posted and clogging up the board. Only issue is that it could turn into a general chat thread but it could work for those just asking for weird trivia or a question where one post would enough to answer.

Great Idea.

But I don't think this thread would be seen unless it was on the main board.

Perhaps give it a shot over there. If you get carded let the mods know that I encouraged you to do it and I should be pinged instead.

Yeah it would be on the main board where ot would be most effective.

I think it woukd be more appropriate for a mod or admin of that board to post it though

Yeah sounds OK. he SRP board has its news of the day type thread for people who want to post a link and a comment but not spend 8 weeks arguing the point.

The big thing is not to get officious about it with "this belongs in that thread for stuff that doesn't need its own thread!" posts.

If it appears both as a thread and as a post in the general thread, nobody needs to stamp their feet in a demarcation battle.
