Disappointing, but it is interesting to see that he took less money as I don't think Geelong are going to be challenging for a flag any sooner than the Pies are. I don't rate much of their youth and their older stars are near retirement.

They made top four this year and will at least make finals next year, I doubt we will be.

Reid has potential to be a 50+ goal player, and with more salary cap room, we'll be more than alright.

He also comes as a massive risk physically not being able to get right for 3 years prior to his depression bout.

Their backline is solid, their midfield fair, and now their forward line will have two genuinely dangerous tall forwards. Interesting times down at the Cattery. It all depends on how their veterans fare next season... and if big Mitch can stay on the park.

They're nowhere near Hawthorn, Sydney or Port. But it looks like they think they can go back to the well one more time with Bartel, Mackie, Enright, Kelly, etc still important cogs.

Also, not sure the point of them getting Clark when they hopefully have Vardy coming back in next year, who would seem to be exactly the same type of player, only younger.
