Make three bold predictions for 2015

Boyd got a RS thing this year can't get one next year
He's played 10 or less games, and will be under 21 when the season starts. He can get another one, Gysberts (lol) got 2 in successive years.

No he didn't did he? I know Patton did but what game did Boyd get one?
You can get two raising star, Sam Blease got two
Not true, a couple of players have been nominated twice. Eligible as long as haven't played 10 games
Didn't know that rule my bad

Yep, and from memory it was in one of those rounds when one of our players got robbed.

Boyd wasn't nominated. He'd be eligible regardless, as timtamWB said. A few notable players have been dual nominees - Nathan Jones, Luke Power, Mark LeCras, Michael Hurley and Michael Braun. A few nobodies, too.

Patton got one during the six week period in which Jake Stringer embarrassed the panel and Stevo had weekly meltdowns.

Again I think that was Patton when Stringer missed out after the Bombers game.

  • Stringer will play some time in the midfield next season
  • Bontempelli will break out like Macrae did this year
  • Dahlhaus will kick 25+ goals next season

1. We will set a new membership record for the club in 2015

2. Morris will not get a contract renewal for 2016.

3. Roughead will stamp himself as one of the elite FB's of the competition provided he keeps his shoulders attached to the rest of his body.

1. Jarrad Grant switched to the wing and wins a shock brownlow.

2. Tom Boyd buys a small pacific island.

3. Matthew Fuller wins his first Sutton medal.
You'll feel like an idiot if you miss this trifecta because Boyd buys his island in 2016 instead of next year. He's on a measly 180k in 2015.

My predictions:
Biggs top 10 B&F, Hrovat top 5.
JJ best 22.
Both Macrae and Libba to struggle with the extra attention in the first half of the season.

1) ZCordy will win a rising star nomination
2) JPruden will not play a single game in 2015
3) FFC will not make the VFL finals in 2015
Other than the first one the other 2 are more likely than bold predictions.

I am sure Pruden is a myth and with the experience of our list I can see Footscray dropping a fair bit of the pace

Tom Campbell will take over as number 1 ruck by the end of 2015.

Lachy Hunter will take mark of the year.

Tom Boyd will prove to be worth every cent and the Doggies faithful will jump on board pushing membership past 40K.

Pessimistic fitzroybulldog
1. Boyd will struggle assert himself, eventually being dropped to the VFL and doing his knee ruling him out for 2016
2. Crameri misses the entire 2015 due this ASADA shenanigans
3. GWS flog us

Optimistic fitzroybulldog
1. Stringer, Crameri and Boyd play the majority of the season combining for 100+ goals for the year
2. no massive blowouts all year. no 3 quarter efforts.
3. 3 AA, 1 in each section of the ground (Def, Mid and Fwd)

1. Bonts will quickly become the best player ever. 2.Libba one of the favs for the brownlow. 3. Stringer will become STRINGER.

Griffen to get a broken jaw after being cleaned up by Jake the muss.
Hrovat to explode with the attention going to Libba & Macrae.
Grant will finally forfill his potential for the whole year.

Honeychurch to start a fight in every AFL game he plays.

Jones to run up the ground, then down the ground, actually judge the flight of the ball, mark and kick a goal for Carlton in Round 11 (he doesn't replicate this great feat again until Round 21).

Prudden to be actually seen on an AFL ground.

Bolded = getting shirtfronted by Adam Cooney and injuring his ACL.

1. Zaine Cordy to play more AFL games this season than Ayce.
2. Jake Stringer will kick more than 40 goals for the year.
3. Fletcher Roberts will be delisted/traded.

Bulldogs to finally win 10 games in a season
Crameri, Stringer and Boyd will combine for 80 plus goals between them
We will have two all Australian players

1. Josh Prudden to play 10 games and earn a RS nomination in round 20
2. Lin Jong to become an established midfielder to the point that many on here retract their negativity towards him
3. Jake Stringer to kick +50 goals and occasionally make his way into the centre square to dominate the clearances
