Everton and City to get off the mark with big wins; 3 - 0 and 1 - 4.

Hopefully we can repeat the five goal drubbing we gave Swansea last time.

Soccernet archives only go back to 2001, so I don't know the answer to this question.

When was the last time Chelsea lost on the opening day/weekend?

We have won 12 and drawn twice in the last 14 seasons on the opening weekend.

Coventry away in 1998-99. 2-1.

Wasnt that a cartoon dog on Rio2?

Going to be an interesting lineup for us. Apparently Fernando will be missing, doubts on Yaya. No Zabaleta, Fernandinho, Aguero, Demichelis. Can't see delph being fit (not sure whats hapoening there). Bony only just started so might not be right to start.

Might see some of these kids.

Will Bony see more time on the pitch this season?

Love watching him, I hope he does.

If Dzeko stays, who starts?

I think (hope) we'll be playing a lot of one upfront so Bony will be spending plenty of time on the bench.

Can't see Dzeko staying but if he does I think he'll be 3rd in line behind Bony or even 4th behind Kelechi.
