At around the 4:30 mark. Jed mentions that they're might be a few more sponsors joining the brisbane lions really soon. Considering National Storage will only be our major sponsor til the end of next year. Could we have another major sponsor? Or, will we have more minor ones.

Cutler Re-signs. Good news just keeps rolling in.:thumbsu:

BRISBANE midfielder James Aish is the only Lion cub yet to recommit to the club after promising defender Tom Cutler signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at the Gabba until the end of 2017.

Cutler, 19, played seven senior matches in 2014 when he was hampered by knee and groin injuries.

At 190cm and 85kg, he has the size and football smarts to be a long-term prospect as Brisbane’s third tall defender.

Cutler and fellow 2013 draftees Lewis Taylor, Darcy Gardiner, Daniel McStay and Nick Robertson have now all extended their deals with Brisbane.

The Lions are confident Aish will agree to terms next year.

Cutler’s contract extension means 18 players have chosen to re-sign or sign with the club in 2014.

Meanwhile, Brisbane will retire the No. 16 jumper of retired club great Jonathan Brown for 2015.

Former Carlton hard nut Mitch Robinson will wear No. 5 — the same jumper worn by fellow ex-Blue Brendan Fevola when he joined Brisbane in 2010.

Allen Christensen will wear the No. 3 made famous by club legend Michael Voss while Dayne Beams will don No. 9.

Great news! Didn't get to show much in his first year but what he did show was really exciting. Two-year extension is fantastic, can't wait to see Tom cut threw the opposition for years to come ;)

Great news re: Cutler. Was actually a little concerned about how he was settling in. Never seems to feature in the player socialising that is captured on Instagram. Was worried he hadn't found his niche but a 2 year extension means he must be happy.

Not to mention the whole Vic Metro thing, so definitely great news.

Especially given Jono Freeman hasn't re-signed yet.

Well he can * off home if he doesn't want to be here.

...wait, what?

Yeah I'm very bullish about Cutler.

I think his ceiling is very high. I'm no expert but I love the time he seems to create when he has the ball. Kinda like when Thorpedo swam with a slower and calmer stroke but went faster. He's a great size also.

At best he'll be a cross between Drummond and Patfull.
At worst I can say....

SLOOOOOOOOOW MOTION BABY when he has the ball.

Please watch below so you can say the same with me..... and be cool.

The top 10 highlight moments for the Lions showing on afl.com remind me how much I'm going to miss watching Browny pick Lewy up and bear hug him.

Was like a father hugging his son after he kicked his first goal.

Our skipper Jed Adcock was involved in a fair few of those highlights. He produced some big "captain" moments this year:thumbsu:

Number 1 in that countdown is such a special memory. Browny's farewell game at the Gabba. To get that win was outstanding. It never gets old watching Browny raise the double fist when the siren goes and watching him greet the boys on the field afterwards is just an incredible moment in football.
