After the last few weeks, especially against an injury ravaged Giants who were already missing a ton of players, they dont seem to be putting in any effort.

Missing easy kicks at goal, missing handballs. No side could be this bad especially when you consider how they were playing earlier in the year.

Seems like a direct reaction to having your jimmies rustled earlier in this thread: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/gws-using-physio-as-runner.1073720/

can't draw any conclusions from one game in isolation. every team has a shtinker once in a while. as a whole their season has been a massive improvement.

roosy trying to teach them risk managment and the defensive side of the game has over-corrected to the point where players are scared to make the big mistake and scared to be exposed so they played garbage safe football.

the problem is simply: they just aren't that good...

Roos doesn't strike me as the type to tolerate tanking.
You're right, but what happened on the weekend left Roos speechless. I think losing is so ingrained in most of the playing list, they need a massive clean out

No doubt. But a losing culture doesn't mean they're tanking now.

Why would the players tank? They are jeopordising their careers to get higher draft picks into the club, who will then create more competition and make it harder for them to stay on the list

Tanking has to come from the coach, with selection and timing of when to take the players off, playing guys out of position. So saying they are tanking but that Roos isn't in on it doesn't make sense.

You're probably right, but the timing of the request for a priority draft pick hot on the heels of a terrible loss is questionable. Its like saying "You turned us down earlier so here's proof that we deserve a priority draft pick"

But we know it is not necessarily a question of ability (as evidenced by 1H form) - its all above the shoulders.
