Love the West Coast Wasps, probably my favourite from the entire thread! Did you draw the logo yourself?

Thanks! And I forgot to mention, I "borrowed" the logo from the Hull Hornets, an American football team in the UK.

1Adelaide Cats.png
Adelaide Cats

Team colours:
  • Navy (from both teams)
  • Red (from Adelaide)
  • White (from Geelong)
The Cats head west to South Australia to form the Adelaide Cats. The home and clash jumpers are based on the horizontal stripes of both teams, particularly Geelong. The jumpers also feature the AFC monogram from Adelaide's heritage jumpers. The preseason jumper is inspired by Geelong's 1999-2004 away jumper. The navy yoke and the horizontal stripes are also shared by Adelaide's home jumper. The red numbers are a reference to Geelong's 1912-18 jumpers.

2Geelong Crows.png
Geelong Crows
Team colours:
  • Navy (from both teams)
  • Red (from Adelaide)
  • White (from Geelong)
The Crows fly east and land in Geelong to form the Geelong Crows Football Club. The home jumper is based on Adelaide's home jumper, with the yellow replaced by white. The clash jumper is based on Adelaide's 2005 heritage jumper, with Geelong's GFC monogram replacing the AFC. The placement of the monogram on three horizontal stripes is also seen on Geelong's 1998 away jumper. The preseason jumper is based on Geelong's 2008-10 clash jumper, with a logo appropriated from the Baltimore Ravens replacing the cat's face.

3Adelaide Seagulls.png
Adelaide Seagulls
Team colours:
  • Navy (from both teams)
  • Yellow (from Adelaide)
  • White (from Geelong)
The Geelong Football Club was infrequenty known as the Seagulls in their early history. This avian nickname returns in a merger to form the Adelaide Seagulls. The home and clash jumpers are based on the horizontal stripes of both teams. The preseason jumper is based on Adelaide's 2008-09 away jumper.

West Coast Tigers
Team colours:
  • Navy blue (from West Coast, and also 1885 Richmond)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
The West Coast Tigers are heavily influenced by (or maybe just coincidentally similar to) the Claremont Tigers in an attempt to claim some more WAFL fans. The home jumper is essentially Claremont's 1976-84 jumper. It is also a Richmond jumper with West Coast's navy replacing the black. The clash jumper swaps the colours, and the result is not dissimilar to the WA jumper worn by West Coast in the 2007 heritage round. The preseason jumper is based on West Coast's inaugural jumper, with tiger claw marks replacing the wings and Claremont's tiger logo replacing the eagle.

I did something like this it was my 2nd or 3rd design to (even called the WC Tigers)

1Melbourne Giants.png
Melbourne Giants
Team colours:
  • Charcoal (from GWS)
  • Red (from Melbourne)
  • Silver (from Melbourne's 2008 clash and GWS's training jumpers)
GWS takes a giant step south and merges with Melbourne to form the Melbourne Giants. The home jumper is based on Melbourne's vee-shaped yoke with GWS's angular G logo fitting into the vee shape. The clash jumper takes inspiration from both Melbourne's maligned 2008 clash jumper and GWS's 2014 clash jumper. The preseason jumper is based on GWS's pre-AFL jumper; similarities can also be drawn from Melbourne's 2010 clash jumper: logo in the middle of a vee.

2Western Sydney Demons.png
Western Sydney Demons
Team colours:
  • Royal blue (from colour TV Melbourne)
  • Red (from Melbourne)
  • White (from GWS)
The colours of the Western Sydney Demons seem largely inspired by 1975-86 Melbourne. However, the colours are the same as GWS's pre-AFL identity. The jumpers are based on GWS's home jumper, with a demon head replacing the G.

3Melbourne Giants.png
Melbourne Giants
Team colours:
  • Navy (from Melbourne)
  • Orange (from GWS)
  • White (from GWS)
The giant G is replaced by a giant M when Melbourne and GWS merge to form the Melbourne Giants. The home and clash jumpers are inspired by GWS's home jumper, with an angular M replacing the G and a vee-shaped yoke replacing the slightly curved one. The preseason jumper is based on GWS's 2012-13 clash jumper.

1Sydney Hawks.png
Sydney Hawks
Team colours:
  • Brown (from Hawthorn)
  • White (from Sydney)
Hawthorn follows Buddy to the Harbour City and forms the Sydney Hawks. The home jumper combines Hawthorn's vertical stripes with Sydney's Opera House yoke to form a jumper somewhat reminiscent of Sydney's 1997-98 preseason jumper. The clash jumper is essentially Sydney's current clash with Hawthorn's brown instead of red. The preseason jumper features an oversized Opera House silhoutte, vaguely reminiscent of Hawthorn's 1997-98 away jumper.

2Hawthorn Swans.png
Hawthorn Swans
Team colours:
  • Gold (from Hawthorn)
  • Red (from Sydney)
The Swans return to Victoria and merge with Hawthorn to form the Hawthorn Swans Football Club. The home jumper is gold with red vertical stripes, based on both Hawthorn's current jumper and South Melbourne's 1905-06 jumper. Like Hawthorn's current away jumper, the colours are simply swapped for the away jumper. The plain red back is a reference to both Sydney's current red back and Hawthorn's plain backs of the 70s, 80s and 90s. The clash jumper is based on Hawthorn's current clash, with a swan replacing the hawk.

3South Melbourne Hawks.png
South Melbourne Hawks
Team colours:
  • Brown (from Hawthorn)
  • Red (from Sydney)
Football returns to South Melbourne as Hawthorn and Sydney merge to form the South Melbourne Hawks. The home jumper features South Melbourne's red vee and SMFC monogram on a brown jumper, resulting in a design similar to Hawthorn's inaugural VFL jumper. The clash jumper replaces the red with brown and the brown with white. The preseason jumper features a red and brown sash; the sash design has been by both the Swans (1907-31) and Hawthorn (1905-11).

Up next, double magpies! Collingwood & Port (requested by CaNNaVo93)

1Port Adelaide Magpies.png
Port Adelaide Magpies
Team colours:
  • Black (from both teams)
  • White (from both teams)
Port Adelaide regains their traditional mascot in a merger with Collingwood. The home and clash jumpers are largely inspired by Port's prison bar jumpers, with Collingwood's three stripes instead of six. The preseason jumper combines the prison bars with the swooping magpie from Collingwood's 2001-04 preseason jumper.

2Collingwood Power.png
Collingwood Power
Team colours:
  • Black (from both teams)
  • White (from both teams)
Possibly the unlikeliest result of a Collingwood-Port merger: no magpies (but Collingwood still remains black and white). The home and clash jumpers take the nickname literally, with a lightning bolt similar to Port's 1997-2003 preseason jumper. The preseason jumper is a combination of prison bar and barcode: the prison barcode.

3Port Adelaide Magpies.png
Port Adelaide Magpies
Team colours:
  • Black (from both teams)
  • White (from both teams)
  • Silver (from Port Adelaide)
The Port Adelaide Magpies reinforce their South Australian locality by retaining the double vee. The teal is replaced with silver (Port's forgotten colour), creating a monochrome palette suited to magpies. The preseason jumper is a faded version of Collingwood's vertical stripes, with a magpie positioned similar to Collingwood's VFL jumpers.

4Port Adelaide Thunderbirds.png
Port Adelaide Thunderbirds
Team colours:
  • Black (from both teams)
  • Teal (from Port Adelaide)
  • White (from both teams)
The combination of Magpies and Power results in and electric avian mascot: the Thunderbirds. The home and clash jumpers are based on Collingwood's vertical stripes, with teal replacing the white and black respectively. The teal preseason jumper is based on Collingwood's 2001-04 preseason jumper, with lightning bolts on the wings and Port-style number panel.

Next: Brisbane & Richmond (requested by Simba Moyo)

1Brisbane Tigers.png
Brisbane Tigers
Team colours:
  • Maroon (from Brisbane)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
The Tigers head north to Queensland and form the Brisbane Tigers Football Club. The colour scheme is a return to the maroon and yellow of the Brisbane Bears (as well as Fitzroy's original maroon jumper with a yellowish chamois yoke). The home jumper is based on Richmond's sash, replacing the black with Queenslander maroon. The clash jumper swaps the colours and adds a number panel. The preseason jumper features Richmond's full body tiger logo. The design is largely inspired by Brisbane's inaugural jumper.

2Richmond Lions.png
Richmond Lions
Team colours:
  • Red (from Fitzroy)
  • Black (from Richmond)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
The Lions head back to Victoria and form the Richmond Lions Football Club. The home and clash jumpers are largely based on the Brisbane Lions' traditional jumper. The asymmetrical yoke features a hint of Richmond's sash.

3Brisbane Ligers.png
Brisbane Ligers
Team colours:
  • Blue (from Brisbane)
  • Black (from Richmond)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a tigress. Ligers are largest species of cat, growing larger than their parents. Hopefully this metaphor extends to football clubs, and the Brisbane Ligers will be bigger than the parts of their merger: Brisbane and Richmond. The team colours are selected from both teams: one from each, and one shared colour. Fittingly, blue and gold are the offical colours of the city of Brisbane. The home jumper is based on Richmond's sash. The top half of the jumper is recoloured blue, similar to the top section of Brisbane's current jumper. The white clash jumper only features the sash on the front, similar to Richmond's 1995-2004 jumpers. The preseason jumper features a funnel-shaped yoke, as worn by Brisbane (2012) and Richmond (2004).

4Fitzroy Tigers.png
Fitzroy Tigers
Team colours:
  • Red (from Fitzroy)
  • Blue (from Brisbane)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
The Tigers move a couple of suburbs, as football returns to Fitzroy with the Fitzroy Tigers Football Club. The home jumper features Richmond's yellow sash and Fitzroy's colours. The predominantly red and yellow colour scheme is not entirely unfamilar to Richmond, as worn in the 1978 Wills Cup. Rather than simply swapping the colours and ending up with an Essendon-like red sash, the clash jumper retains the yellow sash and replaces the red with blue. The silver preseason jumper features the FFC monogram and is inspired by Richmond's 2005-06 Silver Top Taxis jumper and Fitzroy's 1995-96 preseason jumper.

5Richmond Bears.png
Richmond Bears
Team colours:
  • Black (from Richmond)
  • Yellow (from both teams)
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The merger of Brisbane and Richmond sees the return of the Bears and the formation of the Richmond Bears Football Club. The home and clash jumpers are essentially Brisbane's 1992-96 jumper recoloured in Richmond colours. The vee could also be seen to represent a reflected Richmond sash. The yoke and monogram (borrowed from Rangers FC) of the preseason jumper are inspired by both the Brisbane Bears' original jumper and Fitzroy's final jumper.

Next: Fremantle and Gold Coast (requested by Bryce_Jersey17)

1Fremantle Suns.png
Fremantle Suns
Team colours:
  • Purple (from Fremantle)
  • Yellow (from Gold Coast)
The sun sets in the west, and the Fremantle Suns are formed. The home and clash designs replace the white on Fremantle's home jumper with Gold Coast's yellow, forming refracting golden beams of sunlight. The preseason jumper features a stylised sun, repacing the stylised anchor of Fremantle's past jumpers.

2Gold Coast Dockers.png
Gold Coast Dockers
Team colours:
  • Blue (from Gold Coast, and also East Fremantle)
  • Red (from Gold Coast, and also pre-2011 Fremantle)
  • Green (from pre-2011 Fremantle)
The Dockers move from the west coast to the Gold Coast and the result is the Gold Coast Dockers. The home and clash jumpers are largely inspired by Gold Coast's home jumper. An anchor is introduced to the GC monogram, and the sidepanels are coloured red and green to represent port and starboard. The preseason jumper features an oversized GC logo and red and green cuffs.

3Fremantle Sharks.png
Fremantle Sharks
Team colours:
  • Purple (from Fremantle)
  • Blue (from Gold Coast)
  • Red (from Gold Coast, and also pre-2011 Fremantle)
The Sharks nicknames was never really considered for either the Fremantle or Gold Coast AFL teams. However, it does have historical value for both teams, with East Fremantle and Southport respectively. The home and clash jumpers are based on Fremantle's current jumper, with red and blue introduced. The vee design is also a reference to Southport's vee. The preseason jumper features a stylised shark (based on this shark), inspired by Fremantle's stylised anchor from 1995-2010.

4Gold Coast Sharks.png
Gold Coast Sharks
Team colours:
  • Red (from Gold Coast, and also pre-2011 Fremantle)
  • Yellow (from Gold Coast)
Another Sharks team, this time based on the Gold Coast. The home and clash jumpers are essentially Fremantle's jumper recoloured in Gold Coast colours. The preseason jumper is based on Gold Coast's current clash jumper, with a shark logo taken from the Sale Sharks rubgy union club.
