Im no doctor, but as I understand it, the longer he is under the less likely of a positive outcome in terms of physical and mental abilities. So lets hope for the best now.

This is just so terrifying- such a tremendous sportsman, whether you loved or loathed him... I really hope he makes a full recovery, even if the odds seem against it, there's always a chance.

Couldn't imagine what he would be feeling those very first moments when he wakes up and realises that he can't move or do anything. I could only think that he would go into a state of panic and shock.

Nothing since the last report that they are slowly waking him. Beware of any reports that don't come from official sources.

Not looking good for him. Usually no news is good news, but not in this case it seems.
Raced to the limit risking his life for ~20 years on the track at the highest level and survived all that, only to be cut down by an innocuous skiing incident. Makes no sense.

Not to be insensitive but I think it's one of the strange things about medical technology that people are able survive being braindead. At some point you have to accept that they aren't coming back.

Yeah. I think in some cases, if not all, doctors can/do declare someone dead form their brain, rather than the heart.

Last I heard yesterday was that Doctors have said, and it's all they're allowed to say, is that only a miracle can save him now. Sad news
