Just after some info on Luke Keating. He has moved into our area and wondering what sort of player he is ? Is he a consistant senior player ?
 
feral sherwell to nangi?? werrimull must be having trouble with there computer only 1 clearence lodged!! would have to say bambil have done the best recruiting so far (just) golly still the team i think, heard mcraig couldnt get near it in ther practise match the other night??
 
Looked pretty confident on the back page of todays paper. Would surely be up to standard by round 1 you would hope. On another still a few clearances coming in to a variety of clubs, be interesting to see if their is any quality in that bunch.
 
Being new to the area not sure who but due to the short notice of the game, there were a few blokes from both teams unavailable. Was a pretty good hit out in rather warm conditions

Sherwell won't play much his knee is shot. He's passed his best anyway. Money chaser! Wouldn't win an incentive award. Couldn't run out of sight on a dark night.

my thoughts for round 1
cardy v euston, euston by 35 points
werrimull v golly, golly by 1000 points
hope its a close game wanting meringur to win but think the saints will get the job done by 35 points

Cardy and Meringur in close games golly should win by a fair margin. Who is Harry Dunn?
Nangi sacked there coach davis so cant be good signs out there, they have picked up rhode from merbein tho.
 
Match of the round appears to bambill v meringur, should be a good battle with plenty unknown about both teams. Other games appear to have gol gol and euston as reasonably firm favorites. always a good build up in the week before the first game.

Round one this week
cardy v euston, A close one as it's at Cardy, but Euston 10 points or less

werrimull v golly, Werrimull clearances don't look to bad with Johnson, Macleod and DT playing Mills well past his best even if he gets his body right, should have the height but not the run but not as bad as most think, Gol Gol gained a few and lost a few (good ones) will be interesting how they are not as good as most think. However Golly by 3 goals
Meringur v bambill, will be close for 2 or 3 quarters then bambill will kick on for a big win, 8 goals Bambill. With teams of last year and clearances Bambill well on top with Golly,Euston and Cardy to follow.
 
Teams are in..... getting closer now.... Might venture out to Cardy to have a look at the new rooms. Looks like they are all good to go...
 
Tough day for meringur yesterday. Bambill got off to a very fast start and the game was over by quarter time. Some very slick ball movement by the saints coupled with a clear height advantage all across the ground meant they looked very good. Any reports from other matches?
 
Cardy only two goals at 3/4 time.
They kicked 6 in the last quarter. Still no best players etc on the Millewa website.
Not a great start to the season new ground a few new players.
I expected better!!!
