Most hated player... and why?

Hahah geez im old.

It's funny how times change too.

Now I hate Karl Malone as it turns out he is a s**t bloke and I actually love Shaq.

Ive softened with age. I think at the time in 2001 I was afraid of Shaq and Kobe possibly dominating the NBA. Turns out all is well.

Hate is too strong a word to use on someone you don't know personally that didn't rape, kill or bash someone. In before Kobe joke.

I dislike the way Harden goes about playing basketball. Such a talented guy and when he plays basketball the way it should be (in my opinion) is super entertaining, but constantly plays a horrible (yet effective) game.

I dislike LeBron, but it's just a jealousy thing. Dude just has an unfair physical advantage on a basketball court. No one that size is allowed to move like that.

DeAndre Jordan

Absolute flog bucket.

Harden is such a great offensive player , but he just doesn't make his team better.

Also , some of the best footwork I've ever seen by a player , but the sheer fact he leads into players bodies with his arms then expects to get foul calls for contact on his arms shits me. When some of the umps cracked down on it he suffered for it lol.

Dislike Matt Barnes as well. Just a turd.

Last season he did that's why I believed he should have got MVP because I don't really rate their squad as highly as some and he took them to an impressive record and conference final on his back.
This season I totally agree something probably needs to change.

I can't believe you followed basketball in the 90's and liked Malone. Nearly everyone hated him and Stockton, I despised that Utah team. Didn't help they often got the better of us but soo glad they never got a ring.

There's players I enjoy seeing fail but respect greatly their ability like LeBron.

Then there's the Clippers.

I always hated Derek Fisher. He always reminded me of the basketball version of the mouthy little dude who hangs with tough mates. Seemed to massively over rate his own ability because he played on a good team. I could also possibly be Matt Barnes.

Didnt help cos they got the better of you. Yeah no doubt that played a part. My Bulls dispatched them twice in consecutive NBA Finals so I never got that hatred of them. :D

D-Fish was super average. Barely a starting one, just happened to play with Kobe and Shaq.

Jason Kidd gave me a similar impression. His actions this week have confirmed that he's a turd.

rick fox - lamo who cant act... lucky he's on a team like the lakers... vanessa williams.. u b*stard!
Met him at tiger lil's in perth about 4-5 years ago at the little locked off bar. He's a really nice guy, it was for Supernova peeps and a couple of people who paid absolute premium prices to talk to people and he was with eliza dushku or however you say it. I was at another function and noticed him. Was suprised that someone recognised him as a former basketball player. got to talk to him for about 10-15 minutes, cool guy. He also had a big chat to my brother who was looking to go play basketball in the college system untill his injury and gave him some awesome advice and was really genuine

I think for me, Josh Smith

when i made my comeback to domestic amateur soccer i chose number 17 to honour rickard fox.

how dare anyone besmirch the name of D Fisher. Yes he played with shaq and kobe, however he played a role and never whined about playing time. Could've earned more, and played more elsewhere.

When Gary Payton arrived in LA, Fish demonstrated his professionalism and maturity in stepping to the bench.

Malone/Stockton, hated them cause they always beat us. But i respected malone for his dedication to the game, and his fantastic specimen of a body.

Just on Fish - I am clearly biased by 0.04. (which I will go to my grave thinking wasn't legit - but them's the breaks).

But I reckon a big part of it for it for people is about how he left the Jazz to return to the Lakers just in time to win 2 more titles. Obviously there's nothing you can blame him for in that situation - sick daughter, asked out a contract to spend more time with her, be closer to specialist care etc... but then signs a contract shortly afterwards with a Lakers team that was ready to make a run at the title. Just the timing and team he joined was just a bit ah - 'fishy'. (just noting as well, that reportedly, his daughters initial specialist treatment was in New York).
As I said, you can't blame him for making any decision at that point, you just feel sorry the Jazz with how that all played out, particularly after Fisher was an important part of their playoff run that year.
