Bit of a worry considering both countries have nuclear weapons.Of course - After all this is all finished it will be interesting to watch the fallout as India looks toward Pakistan as the hand behind all of this. India will have to either fob this off as a home grown outfit (and who would believe or accept that) or link it to Pakistan. They have already detained two Paki boats they believe where involved in getting the terrorists into the country.
Watch this space for fireworks I reckon.
Thank Allah for religion .
If some people weren't so short sighted they would understand that this is not due to religion, it is due to someone hijacking religion to further thier own hatred.Thank god for religion .
Mumbai has copped this before though - do you reckon it might be a case of the straw that broke the camel's back?

Thats what many Moslems do when when they mention or write Allah's name.wtf?
They also arrested a Pakistan national last night I think. And he has confessed how they hijacked a Indian boat and gave them other details. If this does turn out to be Pakistan involvement I wonder what is going to happen. Also they are saying that some of the terrorist are British nationals of Pakistan background.
These guys appear to be pretty well trained, I think 9+ hvae been captured of the 26, but they've killed upwards of 20 ATF police.
The information that I really want to know is how the hell they knew where the head of the ATF was at the time of the attack? Its either a one in a billion lucky occurence, or some very well researched planning.
Yeah this seems more like a military operation. Too well trained for my liking, to take on a Elite ATF squad and kill their Chief Commanding officer just shows how well planned and organized it was. Reports from the train station are saying that witness said these guys were so calm like they were enjoying themselves. They would empty one clip into the crowd, then reload and do it again. Most witnesses said they were very professional as if this had been rehearsed over and over again.
Sounding more and more like Pakistan gov't involvement or spin from the Indians?
Without getting into conspiracy theory territory, this is why I've always felt there was something off about the Martin Bryant thing. The guy was borderline handicapped, and to have shot the way he did, and plan the attack the way he did, just never sat right with me. he wazs either one of the luckiest shooters of all time, or a patsy.
Not sure how much experience you've had with high powered weapons but there really isn't that much skill required to cause a lot of damage. Point the things in the general direction & it wouldn't be that hard to hit a target the size of a human. What Bryant & these scumbags had in common though is a mental state that we could never really understand. No doubt some significant planning gone into these attacks in Mumbai but I think Bryant was just in the right place at the right time (so to speak) & unfortunately had multiple easy targets with no possible resistence & no forces nearby able to stop him.
I'd be interested to hear any ellaborations you may have on this Bryant theory (something for another thread perhaps)
Yep but great news coming through now the hostages being escorted onto the buses etc. I think now the ATF will be trying to capture the terrorist alive? Or will they go in and blow them away?
Sky News has reported that one of the terrorists shouted "Are you aware how many people have been killed in Kashmir? Are you aware how your army has killed Muslims?" and spoke in Urdu with what was described as a Kashmiri accent.
Early on 28 Novemeber, a Hindu newspaper reported that three of the captured terrorists have confessed to being Lashkar-e-Taiba members, with one of them allegedly from Pakistan's Punjab area
According to some Indian news reports, Indian intelligence agencies believed that attackers came by sea to Mumbai from the Pakistani port of Karachi on the ship MV Alpha.[61][62] This led the Indian Navy and coast guard to begin searching ships off India's western coast.[63] The Times of India is reporting that the Indian Coast Guard has seized a ship that was reported missing a few days ago.[64] The fishing boat from Porbandar was reported hijacked on November 14 and it is suspected that it was used by the terrorists to get to the coast at Colaba. The captain of the boat was found dead and several crew members are missing.
