Dislike the song with a passion but it fronted up pretty well live, surprisingly.

Panic Station though..................the only real low point of the set. Should not be played again.
Really? Strange as that was one of the highlights of The 2nd Law for me. I guess Muse are one of those bands though where they are a different kettle of fish live

I just wanted it to be over and I thought I would have felt the same about Undisclosed Desires but it somehow came across very well.

Supremacy as the opener, Unsustainable, Fury and Survival were the monsters for me. No Dead Star..........next time maybe.

EDIT: Liquid State for all the effort just doesn't carry a Muse feel to it either. Best left behind from here on in.

This is probably more apt for the unpopular musical opinions thread but I actually quite like Resistance. I mean it's no Origin of Symmetry or Absolution but it's not bad as modern music goes.
Agree. I thought Resistance was great. Not great as in Citizen Erased great, but still a bloody good album compared to most of what comes out these days. I'd have it:

Absolution
Origin
Resistance
The 2nd Law
Black Holes and Revelations
Showbiz

Muscle Museum
Citizen Erased/ New Born
Hysteria/ Butterflies...
Map of the Problematique/ Knights...
United States of Eurasia/ Resistance
Unsustainable/ Animals

In order of how I rank the albums
Black Holes - Knights of Cydonia
Origin - Plug In Baby
The Resistance - United States of Eurasia
Showbiz - Muscle Museum
Absolution - Hysteria
The 2nd Law - Animals

Given I don't really just listen to Muse but am happy to watch them live:
Favourite tracks in concert:

Showbiz................Sunburn
Origin...................Citizen Erased / New Born
Absolution............Stockholm Syndrome / Butterflies
Black Holes...........Knights of Cydonia / Take a Bow
The Resistance.....Unnatural Selection / Exogenesis
The 2nd Law........Supremacy / Unsustainable / Survival

B-Side..................Fury

I can't really decide on ONE favourite song, so I'll say my top 2 (not in order).

Showbiz - Sunburn / Cave
Origin - New Born / Plug in Baby (special mention to this live version of Feeling Good)
Absolution - Hysteria / Stockholm Syndrome (Time Is Running Out is better live)
Black Holes - Assassin / Knights Of Cydonia (Loved playing Assassin on Guitar Hero)
Resistance - Uprising / MK Ultra
2nd Law Animals / Survival

Muse working with AC/DC producer on new studio album

Muse have confirmed that they are working with AC/DC producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange on their new album.

The band confirmed the news on their official Instagram page, posting an old picture of AC/DC and Lange together along with the caption: "We are honoured to be making our new album with this legendary producer. #backinblack"

That reminds me, I have always wanted to hear Muse do a cover album. It would probably be half Rage Against the Machine songs but it could be cool.

Flash Gordon soundtrack would do me.
