Really looking forward to this one. It's only NAB Cup but it's great to have footy back.

It's always great to win but I genuinely could not care less about the result tonight. Win, lose or draw - it doesn't matter so long as we get through unscathed and continue to prepare for the season proper.

Plenty of new faces wearing Navy Blue tonight - it'll be great to see how they go out there. Spots are well and truly up for grabs for our round 1 side against Richmond, so expect there to be plenty of players trying to put their best foot forward from the opening bounce.

Mandurah is a hour's drive from the city and is usually around 2 degrees cooler. At that time of day I would think the temp might be around 24 or lower but lately the afternoons have been quite warm.

I'd suggest a bullet proof vest, seriously. Dodgiest place I've ever been. Walked in and then straight back out, thought I was going to be stabbed...had my good flanno shirt on as well

Really keen to see how Cripps, Boekhorst and Jaksch go! 2 first round picks and our big trade in the off season we need these guys performing if we are to move up the ladder. Just relying on Murph, Gibbsy and Juddy ain't gonna do it. The good news is both Cripps and Jaksch have had a few seasons at AFL level and Boekhorst is a mature recruit so they should be good to go.

Watch out for Watson also reckon he might be the surprise packet of the forward line this year!!!
