So we've got a pretty strong squad, with as many as 17 of our best 22 a chance to play. Don't think Brisbane are missing too many of their best 22, either. Just Christensen, Martin and Hanley from full strength (and arguably Harwood and Maguire), according to someone on their board.

Bummer that so many of us might miss seeing the first time Paddy and Goddard play for us because we don't live in the state the game is being played and it's not being televised.

If Spencer is being left out for other than injury or management I think it's a fair bet that it's because he still isn't doing the defensive type things that Richo requires from him. Otherwise I think we'd be very, very keen to pump games like this into him.

it's actually a shame, i thought he looked pretty good in the intraclub.

He has the talent in spades, no doubt, but talent will only get you so far, especially if you play under someone who is so defensively orientated. Hopefully the penny drops ASAP if it still needs to.
