49ers uniforms were worse in action than the promotional shots. You couldn't make out the numbers or names and the material that they were made of alternated between dark and red. If it had a gold trim on the numbers it may have had some saving grace.

white numbers with a inner maroon and outter gold trim would work. May look too Raiderish though.

Hell, even gold on black would have worked better! Maroon on black was a terrible idea.

If they are going to wear black jerseys, they need to do it with gold pants. The helmet stuck out like a sore thumb, and obviously that can't be changed because of the 1 helmet rule
