Nightlife in Adelaide

HQ is s**t. Another bashing there on the weekend. You'll spend $30 on entry and a drink. And it's really not worth it. Have a some ribs or a pork schnitzel at the Pink Pig in North Adelaide and then have some drinks at the Curious Squire. If you really want to go to town stick to somewhere like the Wright St Hotel which has a great atmosphere, shorter drink lines and much better clientele than somewhere like Hindley or Rundle St

Thought that was Wednesdays...or am i showing my age?

I swore i'd never go back to HQ 5 years ago. I made the mistake of going there at the end of a bucks night last year, and lasted literally 15 minutes. Worst $25 i've ever spent

Maybe it is Wednesday night and yes, HQ is terrible.

So, just ignore my suggestion.

You can both add me to the list. HQ is terrible. I can justify paying $25 to get in. Women are good looking there, dont get me wrong but they wont have any interest in you unless they get a free drink off you. Even then they will take their free drink and ditch you.

I remember the great years of 2008 and 2009. Going to Hottie at the end of Hindley street. $4 for a bottle of pure blonde. $20 lasted me a while. Sadly that is closed down. You will only catch me at the Casino on saturday nights on 2 reasons.

1. you dont pay to get in.

2. If your a sports fan then you will like it.

Rosemont Hotel was good as I enjoyed watching the EPL at 2am there, sadly the management had an argument with foxtel and you got to go to enigma bar to Watch fox sports.

One last thing I will say... This will be the stupidest story you will hear in the city.

I had a mate that was drunk in Hindley Street 3-4 years ago. He was so drunk he pissed on a cop car. Cop saw what was going on and slammed my mate on a nearby wall. My mate got off with a warning. I could only imagine what punishment he would of got if he done that to a police officer or police dog instead of a cop car!:p

I used to babysit the original owner, change of ownership killed that place.

Remember that as the New Centuary Hotel... John The Beast used to live there ( he used to sell hotdogs outside HQ when he retired from bouncing ) was a scary place back then.
