I'd rate my 202s over my Shures which I paid 3x more for. That said I bought a 5 pack of 202s from America for US$89 plus shipping (I podcast occasionally so need as many cans as possible)201 or 202 is probably fine sub fiddy bucks

Yeah just at home.Where when do you use them? Just at home or around
I had 201s many years ago, you're right, not much bass or isolation. The 202s are a different beast altogether, the isolation is alot better (better and deeper cups) and there is considerably better bass response. Not "subby" or anything but deep and soulful.I have Sennheiser 201's which were about $33 at officeworks
They're great for the price you pay, but lack in bass or noise cancelling
Level above any other non-iso cans I've used. Nice tight seal ensures that there's a trueness in the bass without discomfort. Would definitely recommend them over the 201s.How's the isolation on the 202s rabbitoh21
Compared to the 201s? I've decided on a whim I'm in the market for a pair of over the ears for my daily commute. Would like no noise to seep out though.
I'm looking at them new AIAIAI TMA-2s, pick your own parts. I keep adding up to the expensive configurations though :/Level above any other non-iso cans I've used. Nice tight seal ensures that there's a trueness in the bass without discomfort. Would definitely recommend them over the 201s.
The only thing I tell people about anything bespoke is that corporations (e.g. Sennheiser, et al) spend heaps of time on research and development, refining and perfecting their products. I always worry about anything bespoke purely because you can never be sure if your configuration has been tested and how it will be compared to a non-bespoke product.I'm looking at them new AIAIAI TMA-2s, pick your own parts. The 202s are the only Senny stuff I own ATM. I tend to gravitate to Shure and Rode (neither of which make decent cans) XDSure you're not just a sycophant for Sennheiser
Wouldn't that be the fault of geneticsI tend to gravitate to Shure and Rode (neither of which make decent cans) XD
