Operation Get Tippett (Officially, finally, over)

Thank God this saga is over.

Now we can all breath a sigh of relief that the club has been saved from itself. Someone else gets the privilege of forking out an outrageously inflated salary for a middling footballer.

The smart thing for us to do now is frontload a few contracts for a couple of years before aggressively entering the free agency market once we're confident we can get near the top four.

Just so happy we stayed away from Tippett in the end.

Can't wait to watch this thread ride off into the sunset.

Probably won't play against him until 2014 as well.
He'll be happy with that, then.

Leave it open. That way we can bump it when Tippett sinks at the Swans. :p

I am sure a PM to one of the Mods can get this thread back to life when required.

I am a vote for the close of this thread as well:)

Never quite got the obsession with locking threads (unless they have turned into abusive shitfights).

It will fade down the list as interest in discussing the topic does.

Will laugh if he cops a head knock a week or 2 before he is meant to play and misses the entire season.

I never cheer injuries for opposition players.

But in this case I might make an exception...

I reckon you've got nothin'.
If the Lions get Tippett it will be one helluva coincidence that you "predicted" it.
Same source as UTG?

yeah I got nuffin....Lions did all they could..but it didnt happen in the end....I tell ya what I hear they jumped up and down to nearly knock the jumping castle over to get the Tip....cest la vie!!
