Dionne Warwick's - The Way to San Jose
Have you seen the way the Catter's play?
Possibly works better if the cheer squad sang the line;Dionne Warwick's - The Way to San Jose

Yeah, and riffing on the same thing they could sing "Under Pressure" to Mick Malthouse at the quarter time huddleOr you could paraphrase Queen:
"Every little thing he does is magic..."
I am up for anything that is a change from "everywhere we go (everywhere we go) people wanna know (people wanna know) etc - i mean that chant is just embarassing. we did that in primary school at school sports - surely that one can be canned?!Yeah, and riffing on the same thing they could sing "Under Pressure" to Mick Malthouse at the quarter time huddle
Definitely not Eskimo Joe.Anyone know the song 'Emergency'? I think it's by Eskimo Joe.
Every bloody time he got the ball, I'd be humming...
Wojcinski... is running across the back flank...
Very swiftly... he passes to Cameron Ling...
A chip kick to Gary Ablett...
Who handballs to Joel Selwood...
A long bomb up forward to Stevieeee Johnson the great...
Dodododododoooo he scores...
The Police?Or you could paraphrase Queen:
"Every little thing he does is magic..."
Even the best make mistakes, WintyOops, my bad.
I lost you after the "guitar line between".... But good try. Someone's got to work out the minor details (see what I did there?)Even the best make mistakes, Winty
Have the Queen song in my head now...
We could do a "na naaa, na na na na na naaa" thing for the guitar line in between the vocal lines.
The police song is a good one but the chorus ends in the key change-shift to the minor chord which would be tricky. Am I overthinking this?
I know it sounds weird, but go listen to those two songs and you'll know what I mean. Some things are much harder to explain than to understand.I lost you after the "guitar line between".... But good try. Someone's got to work out the minor details (see what I did there?)
You had to mention Naa na naaa and hey presto, Hey Jude is stuck in my head.We could do a "na naaa, na na na na na naaa" thing for the guitar line in between the vocal lines.
I'll do that I'm sure it'll make sense when I listen here with your words in front of me.I know it sounds weird, but go listen to those two songs and you'll know what I mean. Some things are much harder to explain than to understand.
Question for any Cheer Squad member - who is AL ?
