1. Hawthorn Vs Geelong - Why not they've done it before.

2. Brisbane Vs Collingwood - Beams Vs Pies not to mention the dreaded "d" word.

3. Adelaide Vs North Melbourne - Crows won't want to lose their first home game of the season.

4. Fremantle Vs Port Adelaide - As Above

5. Carlton Vs Richmond - The 'blockbuster' of the round

6. St Kilda Vs GWS - The Mockbuster of the round

7. Melbourne Vs GWS - Zzzzzzzzzzz

8. Western Bulldogs Vs West Coast - Is this really being played?

1. Carlton vs Richmond - because it's the first. It's been way too long since the last real game.
2. Adelaide vs North Melbourne - Close match-up is everything. 1 win each last season says it all.
3. Fremantle vs Port Adelaide - Two potential top four teams. Could be an early preliminary finals preview.
4. Hawthorn vs Geelong - this would be #1 a year ago but still a good rivalry.
5. Brisbane vs Collingwood - Beams vs the pies. Should be close, too.
6. Melbourne vs Gold Coast - Suns are a very exciting side. Exciting times for their supporters.
7. Western Bulldogs vs West Coast - should be Eagles in a canter.
8. St Kilda vs GWS - cripple fight.

1. Hawthorn/Geelong - tell me otherwise

2. Fremantle/Port Adelaide - 3rd game in 4 matches for Freo against Port. 3 in 5 for Port. 1-1. Top 4 for these teams, a win ahead of at least 2 rivals (loser of Freo/Port and Haw/Geel) on the line

3. Sydney/Essendon - Buddy v the free-to-play Bombers. Could be a cracker

4. Brisbane/Collingwood - Beams v old club, Lions thrashed them last time, Cloke always a chance to take a few grabs and turn it on...Lions mosquito fleet can turn it on

5. Carlton/Richmond - always interesting to watch, the fall-out is the best. Bay13 around Thursday 10.30pm will be enjoyable

6. Melbourne/Gold Coast - Gaz factor really, I think the Suns should win easily

7. Western Bulldogs/West Coast - does Kennedy kick a bag again? Eagles have had it over the Dogs recently, MacKenzie out against the Dogs isn't a huge blow because they don't have a plethora of key forwards, where as Libba out hurts the Dogs v Priddis, Selwood, Shuey...Eagles to win fairly easily (30-45) here

8. St Kilda/GWS - I think the Giants move up a level this year and the Saints are still looking for picks. Giants by 4-5 goals in a fairly lacklustre match

1. Carlton V Richmond ~ It's the 1st game. Footy is officially back

2. Hawthorn V Geelong ~ Blockbuster of the round

3. Fremantle V Port Adelaide - On paper looks a good game. Dockers have a wrong to right from last years semi

4. Adelaide V North Melbourne - Crows will want to start the season strongly. Big game against 2014 prelim finalists

5. Sydney V Essendon ~ Happy that Essendon can field a strong side. Doesn't change the result for me but.

6. Melbourne V Gold Coast - Not great interest for me. My interest is largely seeing how Hogan goes

7. St Kilda V GWS - Bit of a snoozefest

8. Brisbane V Collingwood - No offence but West Coast play at the same time so won't take much interest in it

Hawks v cats - absolute blockbuster. Tradition now that these two meet on the Easter Monday

Tiges vs blues. Round 1 at the g. Also now a traditional game. Massive crowd.

Crows vs kangas - hope north and their new recruits do well. Should be loads of goals of weather is good.

Freo vs port - huge. Really should be the second best game of the round if not the best at least in terms of potential.

Lions vs pies - beams factor

Swans vs dons - will the dons come out a team united after what happened and also play loose football?

Couldn't give a * about Gold Coast and gws games. Cameron will kick a bag.
