• Brad Scott will want McIntosh in there. He wants that ruck duo to work.
• Hopefully Wright is ready to go.
• With McIntosh in, have Pedersen as our sub. He's a perfect fit, can play anywhere we need him to.
• Looking forward to Adams, Boomer, Harper & Cunnington rotating through the midfield & on the forward flanks.

If Grima is no good, Pedo to play back and Hamish into the side.

No Ziebell or Wells, we won't rush Wellsy back.

We should be flag favourites with all these loose men in defence, the rebound will be insane! Nobody will near us :)

Grima won't be right.
He might be, was listed as 4-6 weeks and round 1 is around 7 weeks away. If it is only 4-5 weeks injury then he will still have 2-3 weeks to regain fitness. If he is 6 weeks then we probably won't rush him for round 1. EDIT: Round 1 is just over 5 weeks away so disregard the above.

FB: McMahon Pedersen/Delaney Thompson
HB: Firrito Hansen Atley
C: Wells Cunnington Bastinac
HF: Boomer Tarrant Adams
FF: Thomas Petrie Edwards
R: Goldy Swallow Greenwood
I: McIntosh Gibson Harper
S: Speight

E: McKenzie MacMillan Warren

Grima if fit to play full back. If not then one of pedo or car keys,.
If Wells is not ready then debut McKenzie on the wing.

Our round 1 game is 5 weeks and few days away. I don't think he will be quite ready but should be back by round 3 at the latest.
Must be really upsetting to have injury after injury.

Haha my mistake, you're right. Yea grima probably won't be ready for round 1 then. Either car keys or pedo for full back

I think i'd prefer Hansen at FB than Pedo.

Would like to see if JMac can be effective at taking some kick-ins
Garlett the other possible sub
One of Hansen, Pedo, Goldy, H, Petrie, Tarrant must be on the bench at any point in time
Depending on the opposition forwards, would like to see if we can send Thomas down back for periods. could use his accurate field kicking down there.

Gibson and Mullett are rookies right? When can we upgrade a rookie? I thought we need to put someone on the long term injury list first. Touch wood, we're ok on that front aren't we?

I think that we can upgrade 1 with no LTI for round 1.

I think that there is also another point in the year where we can elevate a rookie with no LTI, potentially around round 11.

We can upgrade a rookie prior to round 1 because we only have 1 player on the veteran list. We will most likely upgrade gibson since he is a good chance to play round 1 especially with no ziebell and possibly wells.

We can also promote another rookie mid-season.

From Friday Night I was impressed with LA's work down back his ball magnetism will help. I too would like to see if we can turn LT into a Johncock so my back line looks like.

Anthony, Hansen, Thompson
Thomas, Pederson, McMahon

Firitto on bench

Our midfield looked good but not gelled I liked Jmac's desire to run JZ is a monster not far behind him i can see Cunners becoming one Greenwood and Swallow are just workhorses love what they do. Boomer, Adams and Basti are the x factors. with a bit of Harper thrown in for class. Atley is a bit of a way off. Gibson is quality depth.

Centre line
Cunnington, Greenwood, Bastinac

Out of our forwards Edwards and Tarant were the stand outs because we expect the dish to be incredible.

Forwards
Harvey, Tarant, MacMillan
Harper, Petrie, Edwards

Rucks

Goldstein, Swallow, Adams

Interchange;

McIntosh, Firrito, Wright, Campbell (Atley)

FB: Anthony Hansen Thompson
HB: Thomas Pederson McMahon
C: Cunnington Greenwood Bastinac
HF: Harvey Tarrant JMac
FF: Harper Petrie Edwards
R: Goldstein Swallow Adams

We've put Curran on the LTI list so both Mullett and Gibson should be promoted prior to round 1.

that's a massive incentive for Mullet and Gibbo, very hard to choose between the two at the moment. I thought Mullett showed a lot of promise last year.

Patrick Keane @AFL_PKeane
North Melbourne has placed Tom Curran on the long-term injury list. No replacement named at this stage, as rookies eligible to play NAB Cup.

Seems wise.

As Passmore says there is no point in playing him until later in the year anyway. Give him 3 month preseason now with the intent of giving him half a season of footy at VFL level. He'll be ripe to get stuck into the next preseason with the aim of senior games in 2013.

Agree BTron
..and if we really want to play him this year, we can wait until mid-year so we don't need to put mullet/gibbo back on the rookie list
