Thought that a single thread with a list of every clubs out of contract players would simplify questions for people. I am unsure of the status of other clubs but here is the list for gws.

O'rourke: (Vic) inside midfielder. Former #2 draft pick

Plowman: (Vic) key defender. Former #3 draft pick

Jaksch: (Vic) KPF/KPD. Former #12 draft pick

Stewart: (Vic) key forward. Former #27 draft pick and F/S prospect

Gilham: (old) Don't think anyone will chase him

Addison: (nsw) don't think anyone will chase him either

Hunt: (old) see above

Downie and whiley are both potentially ooc but no confirmation at this stage.

We expect Swallow and Bennell to be tied up early in the year. Not sure of the others. Harbrow possibly already signed quietly as the club has done this with the senior players a few times.

Here is our list of players coming out of contract. The top 5 players will receive significant interest from other teams if they are not re-signed early.

Bradley

Hibberd and Zaharakis being to two real notable players out of contract this year. 2015 looks like the danger year, lots of names there we really want to lock away ASAP.

Cheers. Waterman and Matera could be a handy off-season for us, with another Matera on the way in November 2015,

I'd start at a third rounder for Matera, second only depending on how he goes this season.

I'd start at a third rounder for Matera, second only depending on how he goes this season.

Yeah he still has lots of question marks over his durability.

2nd rounder for Matera would be daylight robbery. A pick around #10 would be fair.

Anyway...

Harvey (FA)
Firrito (FA)
Goldstein (FA)
Hansen (FA)
Bastinac
Adams
Grima
Anthony
Greenwood
Gibson
Jacobs
Hine
Garner
Curran
Wood
Wilkins
Nahas

Pick 10 is overs for Matera. Adams was pick 10. Matera is anywhere between 15-25.

He's better than Adams.
Massive call. Adams proved he is and will be a very good player at GWS. Matera is a good player, but he lacks the ability and leadership that Adams has. Matera has been injured, but when he has been playing he really hasn't been so impressive. Since his first year I haven't been to impressed with him.

He is 4 years in and hasn't set the world on fire and his injuries have kept him off the park. His potential is worth pick 10 but his current output and displayed form makes him worth a second rounder at best. Posters tend to overrate players eg north posters claiming majak daw was worth a top 10 pick when he hadn't debuted when it looked like gws were keen. Let's not forget the Addison and wood for pick 1 that dogs fans sprouted all last year.

What is Liam Summer's story? I remember pre draft we were linked to him. doesn't seem to have set the world on fire.

Liam Sumner suffered foot injuries an it has hurt his development but te club has shown massive faith by signing him up till 2016 so he is irrelevant to this thread.

We have waited for this year in FA and trades apparently, if we finish 5th or above we will try too lure a big name.

What sort of players would the tigers be chasing. They seem well stacked with mids, Chaplin and rance have the key backs covered and mcbean/roo have the key forwards sorted. I assume the holes in the list are small backs/forwards and maybe a top flight ruckman?

I thought Richmond had very little cap space left. Is this true? It seemed so when Dusty, Conca and Reiwoldt left their contract negotiations to the last minute, presumably peeved with what they'd been offered.
