Paul McCartney collaborating and back on the charts

Paul has written a number of songs with Kanye West and was thought to be co-producing his album.

Their first single "Only One" charted well in Australia with Paul playing on the keys and the pair were writers for Rhianna's new single "FourFive Seconds" which is #3 on the ARIA charts and features a music video of Paul playing guitar with Rhianna and Kanye singing.

Paul is also working with Lady Gaga, fair to say he is not slowing down.

What do folks make of all of this?

I'm a Beatles fan but haven't liked anything he's written for the last few decades. I think people work with him out of respect rather than creative reasons.
