If the chatter is true about him being media shy and not wanting a head role I wonder what has changed? Hopefully not just the cash and prizes. I think it's a good appt, I wonder if Roo put a timeframe on it as in a succession plan, put him in as head coach to get him released from Port, bring in gun asst to take over sooner rather than later, Walsh then into director of something role??
 
The Port Power fapfest board will go into melt down if he was appointed anything less than senior coach.

Could you imagine if he was appointed senior assistant coach?
