Drove an Escort, Cortina (or a ford falcon) - not quite a Commodore.
As someone who flew down from Adelaide it was very frustrating witnessing such a lame effort from our box. First time I thought Sando might get the flick with such an inept "plan" of stopping Ziebell.
Is interesting...that Ziebel qtr probs had a huge say on and raised a lot of questions which ended in the demise of Sandos an L Thompsons contracts..Would have loved to have heard Phil's thoughts on Ziebel being effectively let loose in the forward line.

It's good for propaganda purposes too. It's been hotter in Adelaide than it has been in Dubai. Camps are more about team building, you can get fit at home just as easy.
Sando during that game was relegated to watching Rome burn because he lacked the courage and/or ability to think outside the box. It's all well and good to plan during the week leading up to a game for all that may go wrong, but some things can't be predicted and so good coaches must be able to think on their feet and come up with solutions for the problems that weren't anticipated, as those problems arise, and have the balls to implement those solutions even if they're afraid of making things worse. Is interesting...that Ziebel qtr probs had a huge say on and raised a lot of questions which ended in the demise of Sandos an L Thompsons contracts..
absolute misconception .......in days with less training it was indeed appropriate for that purposeIt's been hotter in Adelaide than it has been in Dubai. Camps are more about team building, you can get fit at home just as easy.

But these guys are in each others pockets full time ....and are doing team building training everyday
Your whole post is a misconception. Nothing will make a group of mates closer than being lost in a foreign country.
Don't even need the foreign country for that, just need to take a wrong turn on a bush path and you'll end up lost for a good couple of hours
Aaaawww that's so nice ..........lovely memories ...AT WHAT COST !Your whole post is a misconception. Nothing will make a group of mates closer than being lost in a foreign country. Well they are not really lost but it is an adventure with mates none the less, making good memories. Some things always stay the same.
It's all B..S..t
As soon as footy dept tax came in, those clubs who were unashamed supporters of overseas trips such as Arizona, suddenly had a change of heart
So much for the value of such trips .......if it was that valuable in getting that 1% advantage, they would have continued with the trips

Are You prepared for your membership to be spent on a team bonding trip ?
Nah .....just don't believe every bit of AFL spin the clubs put outIf it means the group is more tight nit, then yes. The benefits of a closer group are enormous. Maybe campaignerston and Tiprat would have thought more about staying had they built greater relationships with their teammates.
It sounds like you don't like sports camps. Have a bad experience when you were a wee lad? I feel sorry for you.
Who?I'm confident of a top 6 with decent injury run - then anything is possible...
Ps. You forgot Shaw - as we all want to forget
Interesting use of the word 'camp'. They are most likely staying in 5 star accommodation.
Do some ball drills on top of the Al Bhurj. Whoops balls gone.To be fair it IS Dubai, I doubt you'd be able to find much else out that way.
They're not backpacking through MongoliaYour whole post is a misconception. Nothing will make a group of mates closer than being lost in a foreign country. Well they are not really lost but it is an adventure with mates none the less, making good memories. Some things always stay the same.
