Every team needs a spinner, and mine is one of the hottest young prospects available in the country. Already preferred over his contemporaries in Fawad Ahmed and Jon Holland, James Muirhead is already capped at international level with five Twenty20's under his belt and is a darkhorse along with Cameron Boyce to be selected in the World Cup Squad. Although in experienced at Shield level, his bowling has attracted praise from Shane Warne and Ashley Mallet, and we all know how much Australia loves a leg spinner. With a bowling attack of Johnson, Sayers and Hazlewood, as well as Moises Henriques, this team can most definitely afford to protect a rookie spinner in its ranks.

Somehow he wasn't able to land a gig in anybody's First XI, but Doug Bollinger is my Twelfth. An extremely capable bowler who, whilst back in queue, is still an incredibly serviceable player in all forms of cricket, Bollinger will be an important cog in the side rotating with Muirhead depending on the pitch (ie - WACA, Brisbane) and form. Everybody loves a fiery paceman and between Johnson and Bollinger, my side has a great pair.
