A strong-bodied tall defender that reads the play very well. Can shut down opposition key forwards whilst also providing good rebound from defence. Displays excellent leadership qualities, very good endurance and strong hands in the marking contest. I am generically disappointed with our decision as we could've had pick #32, pick #35 or pick #36, all of whom have more distinguished junior records and that fill actual needs for this club. Why do we keep drafting injury prone players/light-framed players/flankers?

Parker has to go.

Intersting how the thread makes perfect sense when at the time of this post we didn't know who pick 29 was. Reminds me of John Clarke doing a series of reports on the mythical sport of Farnarkling years ago.

Never heard of him, but SEN says that he was oustanding at the draft camp.

was talked up as a gws 12/14 ( with jacksh being the other ) prospect for a long time until late in the year when he was replaced by corr which ended up being the case. was slated for something like pies or dogs picks for awhile as well.

Good luck to him, welcome to the club. Don't know enough about him to pass judgement but hope the scouts did.
