Dom Tyson is now a Melbourne player in exchange for pick 2. GWS now have the first two picks in the draft.

Will get plenty more midfield time at the Dees. Was in the pecking order behind Ward, Scully, Whitfield and the likes. Will be a walk in starter for a Demons midfield now with Tyson and Michie added to it. Not big names, but 2 young up and coming midfielders for the next 8-10 years. Good move Dees

Wonder where this leaves the (overs) pick 20 for Vince...

Risky trade by the Dees, however they will still get some quality at pick 9.

Tyson is pretty unproven this stage.

Is this the guy the tiges were pretty keen on? I know they were after someone pretty heavily last year.

I don't know a great deal about him but it looks like a pretty good trade for Melbourne.

Has had his share of injuries. You guys made a big play for him last year, and thought you may do the same again.

IMO, Melbourne aren't sold on either Aish or Kelly as pick 2, so we should be able to get the inside mid we are after with pick 9.
