Those of you without long-term memory loss, may remember my award-winning thread from last year titled, "Pictures that describe the AFC circa 2014" where we vented utter rage at our shambolic club with many, many internet memes, gifs and the like. It was cathartic. It was necessary. It was the lone shining light of the season, and indeed is a time capsule of the hopes and dreams of a internet forum... particularly, the crushed hopes and dreams. Nostalgists can find it here:

I thought it appropriate to try again. To try to capture the zeitgeist of a start to the season that I daresay is about a billion times better than we could have hoped, nay dared to dream for. Will it work? Instead of catharsis, will it be triumph? Instead of rage, will it be joy? Instead of typing more, should i post pics?

Bit lazy mate, you should have hung that first sign on the Westpac Centre. I know you're a 'known' person in the security lounge there, but I'd back you in to get away.

"Unwatchable vomit football"?

He is right. How boring has it been watching our boys kick a lowly 33 goals in 2 games and lead the league in scoring shots over the past 2 rounds.

Who wants to watch a key forward take 26 marks in 2 games and kick 8.8 alongside an absolute freak who regularly kicks boring goals from the boundary line. YAWN.

Fans hate high scoring football - FACT.

Thats what annoyed me about sando when he would always bring up how he wanted low scoring. Walsh wants a whole team defensive mindset but happy to score big.
