Getting outnumbered in possessions again this time contested as well.

We have been training with footballs haven't we?

Jones gets one back at least to stem things but our ball use needs to get better - last game prior to round 1.

It's frustrating when the other team plays keepings off, finally turns it over only for us to bang it long and straight back to them.

Port goal, 33-13. Sounds like we are allowing them, like last week, to take the ball too easily out of our forward half and put easy pressure on our defence. The boys need to work harder.

Not too concerned but 53-123 disposal differential is bad from any perspective.

Still can't help but think there is a teaching aspect to this. We aren't that bad.

I agree it's not looking flash but we can't start saying this stuff until Round 4 or 5. If it's still going on by that time then yes, it's a long year ahead.
