The good, got to watch a cracking game on FTA. The bad , confirmation we are middle of the road at best. The ugly, no realistic areas where wholesale improvement will come from.

Goldstein beat both of his opponents, individually.
Harvey and Petrie were decent, along with Higgins.

Gibson was absolutely ******* woeful. McDonald & JMac were s**t.

We are doing the basics BADLY.

Almost everyone is making mistakes. Decision making + skills execution has gone backwards somehow.

A lot of people throw s**t at a select few, and they often deserve it. But we have other best 22 players, best 18 players, top 10 players, who are making basic errors at a scary rate.

All too often we have a promising scoring chain and the BANG someone *s it up. All too often the opposition has players too loose at stoppages. All too often we don't have outside receivers for the Jacks and Cunningtons to hand off to. All too often we bomb it high and slow into the forward line. All too often we just * up.

Something is WRONG.

That's a cop out IMO.

Mundy was drafted at 19, Fyfe in the 20s, Neale in the 50s, Barlow in the VFL. They want it. Our guys dont.

There is truth in that. We never bottomed out so never got the top picks. And while we weren't bottoming out, the expansion teams came along and pushed us even further back. Similiar situation to Richmond and now Geelong.

That said, it's no excuse for some of the s**t going on.
