It's not just NTTAWWTs (no BT) that want these laws, a majority of Australians do, that gives you a mandate, which I believe is a trendy word in Canberra these days.

What do you want me to refer to them as ? BTs ? you referring to the probability that some BTs arent in favour of marriage equality ?

I have friends who argue if it wasn't lesser it wouldn't need to be different.
Why not just make marriage equal? A separate category simply adds to legislation and complexity.

The relevance is that the proposed bill is specifically about same sex marriage.

The thread is specifically about same sex marriage.

The race has been run and you came second mate. Gay marriage will be legislated for one day, possibly even during the life of this Parliament, and I never thought I'd say that. You are on the wrong side of history, and you can quibble over words, but it will make no difference.
