Positive
- On average 2 years younger than any other prelim finalists and 30 games less experience with the best young coach in the competition. How could you not be excited.
- McKenzie, Brown and Duggan to come back next year.
- Who knows what the * Lamb will add. X-factor.
- Freo fans adding this to their list of club achievements. Makes your heart beat purple.
- I'm about four beers and one cone in.

Negatives
- Nothing. Absolutely nothing went wrong today.

Neg
- Absolutely no hunger for the contest at all, its was 2013 like.
- Our run just dried up today
- Soft all over the ground
- Disposal and decision making was deplorable
- Darling was a disgrace
Pos
- Gaff, what a gun.
- Shep was galant
- Boys will learn from this
- No disgrace losing to the best team of the modern era.

Not many positives from the game, but the big takeaway is we got beaten (soundly) by an exceptional team and will hopefully learn from it. Core group is super young, in the perfect window age and experience wise to have several cracks at the flag, and now they've all had at least one finals series and a GF under their belts. Will be better for it but Hawthorn just far too good on the day.

Agreed. We will learn so much and to get beaten by this Hawks team is no disgrace. We will be coming out breathing fire next year!

Making the granny after a poor start the the year is a huge positive.
Everything that happened today was a negative

We shat the best...had our chances in the first 10 minutes of the third and we blew it!

Jack Darling dropped any chance we had of getting back in the game. Once they took it down the other end part of me knew it was all over.

Well done Hawks - too good!!!

Seeing Adam Simpson so dejected in the meeting room after can go one of two ways. Lets just hope it's the way we want.

Negatives:

Having to endure this Hawthorn team being named the Greatest Sporting team in the history of any Sport in the entire Universe for the next 5 years.

Having to endure the "sucked in EAGLES LOLOLOLOLOLOL" txt msgs and fb posts from a) anyone that isn't a Hawks fan and b) people that have absolutely no interest in the AFL apart from Grand Final day.

Positives:

This doesn't hurt anywhere near as much as 2005.

But 2016 will feel even better than 2006 :fire::fire::fire::fire::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Priddis is a gun. However, with Priddis in the centre the last two weeks we seemed to get smashed to easily on the inside and on the spread by the Hawks and North.

With Priddis out against the Hawks in the QF we looked a different team with our contested hunt and pressure on the ball.

Priddis out forced us to change things up in the centre and it worked. We played with better fluidity and spread.

Negatives
- Where was our manic pressure from the QF? We didn't have it last week either. The QF was our Grand Final unfortunately.
- Midfield lacks class. We have no gun inside mids yet.
- Shuey, Darling, Lecras tried but choked.

Hurn's performance was a massive negative. Not the way you want your captain to play on GF day.

Was very hard to watch.

Looked afraid walking out onto the G. Nerves got the better of him. Wasn't vocal enough in the rooms before the game and his tension would have flowed on to the boys.

Positives:
-We came out in the second half and controlled the game for the first part, we just didn't put it on the scoreboard. The system can work on the MCG we were just let down by some poor decision making and skills
-We will surely be hungry for redemption next year. This group has showed great spirit and fight, I refuse to believe this will break us.

Negatives
-too many to list.

Struggling with positives
-Gaff, After a slow start ended the game with 34 touches top effort. The only mid who tried and used the ball well i50.

-Gov, Played well all day and ended the game with a couple of goals. Our key defender this year played better up forward than any of our forwards. Even though that be can put down to very poor supply by our mids.

- This loss will make us hungrier to improve.

- Saved possibly the biggest positive for last. We made a Grand Final in the second year of Simmo being senior coach, with injuries to key players all year, that's huge. Shows how good Simmo is as coach and how good this young, inexperienced squad is. Bring in Duggan, Eazy and Browny next year plus who ever we get in the trade period. We'll hopefully have an even better 2016.

Negatives

- Too many players looked disinterested didn't go hard at the ball or player, turned it over and let the Hawks do whatever they wanted.

- I love Simmo but he needed to do more to get the boys back in the contest he will learn from this as well. As he always says, he and the coaching group are learning with the players. Will be better after today.

- Forward line, I touched in this in the positives and it does start with the mids, but when we had shots on goal we missed. This wasn't the first time this season we've lost games due to being inaccurate in front of goal. Time to look at Longmuir?

- Rosa the sub, should have been Masto. It was obvious last week he was lacking match fitness / form, should never had started or possibly even played.

Look forward to 2016 every one! Duggan was looking bigger at training on Monday so hope for a big pre season out of him, as well as Darling, Eazy, Brown, NN, Gov, Sheed, Yeo, Muzza and the other draftees from last year, Lamb, Nelson, Waterman, Cavka, Adamson and Brophy.
