Perhaps for posterity. Perhaps I'm drunk, but I thought this might be a nice prediction thread for all the current crop in terms of guessing how many games they will play in their career and when they may retired.

Liam Duggan - 242 games - last career game ends with ruptious applause from new stadium which is full - 5 time all Australian, captain for 2021-2027;
Tom (edited) Lamb - 67 games (traded to Richmond after 2018 season)
Jackson Nelson - 43 games (traded to Essendon after 2017 season);
Damian Cavka - 187 games, retires due to injury (after making himself human battering ram) after 2024 season;
Kane Lucas - 41 games, delisted after 2018 season;
Alec Waterman - 203 games, handy utility, retires after 2026 season;
Corey Adamson - 38 games, delisted after 2018 season.


What does everyone else predict, remember, think clearly, you may be judged in 10 years, where I will likely be judged in 5 minutes.

Liam Duggan - 302 games - (second player to 300 games after Jack Darling and second most capped player behind Jack Darling.), Retires in 2028
Tom Lamb - 37 games (Potentially good career curtailed by injuries and he never lives up to his potential); delisted in 2019.
Jackson Nelson - 102 games (holds a list position and fades in and out of our best 22 between 2017 and 2024).
Damian Cavka - 128 games, (proves a magnetic half forward who never really overcomes his disposal problems); Traded in 2021 to Essendon.
Kane Lucas - 0 game, (EH becomes head recruiter for 2016) delisted after 2015 season;
Alec Waterman - 193 games, (slow start to career, becomes a ball magnet at WAFL level before getting first real midfield opportunities in 2017), retires after 2027 season due to hamstring problems;
Corey Adamson - 28 games, (consistently leaks goals which shoddy defensive work?) delisted after 2017 season.
Paddy Brophy - 0 games, (never quite comes together). delisted after 2017 season..

Jackson Nelson - 193 games - shocks everyone with how aggressive he is (in a good way)

Damian Cavka - 3 games - moves back to Melbourne after a fight with the club about his overly meticulous training methods

Kane Lucas - 0 games

Alec Waterman - 120 games - has a good (but not great) career

Corey Adamson - 96 games - early career is shocking but has a couple of great seasons before retiring earlyish

Paddy Brophy - 0 games - gets homesick

Matt Priddis - 496 games. Going to break Michael Tucks record and be the most debated player of all time, until he retires at 49. Nice bloke though.

He'll retire earlier than that after his first major injury cuts short his career aged 45.

He suffers the injury when hit by a car at a crosswalk while helping old ladies cross the street.

Police are still looking for the driver, at this stage they've got a partial read on private plates DRKSH....

Liam Duggan - 250+ games - no reason he shouldn't have a good to great career. Hopefully all at WCE.

Tom Lamb - 45 games - Our 2nd round gambles traditionally don't work out and i'm guessing the trend continues. Has a career similar to Tom Swift, flashes early but has injury problems and never truly finds a position. Ends up whipping boy due to hair.

Jackson Nelson - 150 games - should etch a career as a solid b-grader.

Damian Cavka - 50 games - big engine but disposal issues. Has a career similar to Callum Chambers.

Alec Waterman - 130 games - has a couple of seasons where he is an elite extractor but ultimately ends up a middle of the road player.

Corey Adamson - Impossible to predict but if he plays more than 10 games I'll be impressed.

Paddy Brophy - If he can beat homesickness and commits to the game I can see him making it.
