Today's Games:
Marcellin - Ormond
PEGS - Parkdale
Peninsula - Hampton Rovers
Banyule - Monash Blues
Oakleigh
- Old Camberwell

Two big games next week will possibly sort out the final positions for the top 4 come the end of the season. The games are Hampton Rovers v PEGS and Monash v Peninsula.

Yes Jase we're getting to the serious bit. Noted at the Bearcave today they're advertising a special meeting re the future of the Club. Good game in fair conditions with Monash only kicking away in the last term. One genius turned on a very very weak display to get himself red carded and Monash kicked away from there. Second ordinary act we've seen in two games this year against Banyule...not good.

Good win from your boys today Jase I reckon. Few big weeks ahead.

Premier C people might need to have their mobile phones charged up (and plenty of credit/money in their phone account) come Round 18. Because we could be heading into an extraordinary finish to the home & away season. So, who will be in the 4 at the end of the H & A season, and who will be stiff to miss out?

Are there any decent rivalries in this Section? Based on current ladder it would be great to see Oakleigh sneak in for a potential HR/Oak match up in the finals. Some good history between the 2 save for having our pants pulled down in the '07 GF.

You're one step ahead of most of us Jase.

I'd say Riss, Les, and Umpy AM and Clint in the top 4. Bedders to finish bottom and be demoted. Uncle Mick stiff, especially if he tries to put in late tips again.

Monash and Parkdale have a good rivalry as two sides who've often been in c grade over the last 15 years. Play for the John White shield.

Forging a relationship which gives some of our boys an opportunity to do a preseason with Sandringham. Great for HR and a good way for Sandy to build relationships with the clubs in their area given they'll most likely be a stand alone club after the St Kilda agreement. I suspect they'll work with Beauy & St Bedes as well.
Cockie turned up and stuck around with the boys afterwards. Often these relationships can be more for show, but it was great to see him get involved with the playing group beyond the hours of footy.

Bedford this is the very point when posters ( july 18/19 Rissoles) have a crack at the clubs for not helping each other - another perfect example of where a club in Ormond have sacrificed to ensure a match starts and Banyule and Orm blokes get a run. This is what it is all about. If PEGS do not assist and play 18 against 14 then pick up the sheep station ( prize) PEGS on your way out. I heard that Orm suffered a couple of very bad injuries over the past week or so, that doesn't help but good to see young Hardwick named to play.
