Round 10 squiggle
(Really sad)

View attachment 181716
  • The Swamprats consolidate their position on top of the rankings further with an excellent game against the Gorillas. Holding them to 8.6 (54) means they're now clearly the best defensive side in the Sweet FA.
  • The Bears jump a whopping five spots after their victory over the Dragons, but as mentioned last week, the teams around mid-table are all bunched together pretty tight.
  • No comment on the Demons.
Could there be a bigger fall from grace?

Its a bit lonely all the way out there by ourselves

Eth if it isn't too much trouble, each week could you provide the Squiggle Tips? If you want I can help you with it (assuming you're using the same formula as the MB Squiggle)
Not a problem.

What is the formula you are using for this Squiggle?
The score prediction is 95 (roughly the average score across all seasons of Qooty multiplied by Team A's offensive score divided by Team B's defensive score.

Unless you mean the squiggle itself?

Ahhh cool. MB uses 85 as the average which is why my numbers were out (plus i was guessing off the squiggle chart)

Boy, what happened to the Demons? Weird.
Hit an iceberg called the Sin City Swamprats and now their season's sinking like the Titanic.

Ayyyy Eth what program do you use to make this scribograph. Is it Excel?

Round 11 squiggle
(Stop, stop, they're already dead)
upload_2015-10-13_1-6-39.png
  • In contrast with the vague Simpsons reference in the subtitle it is the men in black and white beating up everyone else, as the Swamprats extend their lead further and further away. They'll be hard to displace as the highest ranked team unless they drop off and a team hits consistently great form.
  • Currently the Swamprats are the 10th-best ranked team at any point in Sweet FA history. But does it bode well? Of the seven teams above them (as the Hawks of S13 and Warriors of S19 are counted twice), four made a grand final and none won a premiership. Good form is one thing but there's no doubt getting there is half the battle - or maybe a lot less.

  • The pro-Hawks trend continues as the men (is that plural or singular nowadays?) from Waverley triumphed over the Dragons. The 22-point win was quite an unexpected result and sees them join up with the rest of the pack.
  • The Gorillas aren't doing a circle, it's more a figure eight. It's yet another season it's gone in the wrong direction.
  • The Demons return to more familiar territory, and if they had kicked straighter could have returned straight back to their last position, and perhaps sent the Wonders to last on the rankings.
  • The Wolves and Warriors also jump after their respective wins over the Roys and Bandits.

Round 12 squiggle
(*squints*)
upload_2015-10-20_0-6-59.png
  • The Demons are certainly hot and cold at the moment, with a big win over the Royals propelling them back into respectable territory. 24.13 (157) on the weekend establishes them as the most potent side in the league and to fourth on the rankings, while the men from Gold City went crashing the other way.
  • Also rising are the Dragons after similarly crunching the Bandits. Baghdad end the season-long tussle between the Wolves and Hawks for worst team in the league - they dropped four spots on the rankings to take the mantle.
  • There's one big cluster forming, aside from the brilliant Rats, the steady Warriors and Furies, the end of season pirouette of the Roys and the fast-paced Demons.
For something different (and to lessen the strain on your eyes) here's a squiggle detailing each club at the start of the season, after round six, and now. Certainly makes detailing patterns a little bit easier:

Round 13 squiggle
(Oops)
upload_2015-11-19_23-28-29.png
  • The Bears were the biggest movers in an otherwise steady week. Predicted to win by three points, the Bears defeated the Dragons by 28.
  • The Bandits' spell on the bottom of the rankings only lasted a week, with a 24-point loss to the Swamprats considered above expectation and an improvement on their recent results. Sorry Wonders, you're last again. Lmao suck it bitches
  • Along with the Bandits, the Warriors losing and the Demons dragged into a low-scoring result against the Hawks creates a more uniform pack behind the still-dominant Rats.
