Well, yeah. But that was the plan to attract blockbuster crowds to Geelong. Here's the link.

The reasoning being that we averaged 37,882 against them this year and they want to siphon even more government money into increasing the capacity to 38K.

I highly doubt the AFL will allow it. We had nearly 10k more people at the game on Friday night (which was one of the lowest attendances between the two teams for a long time) than Simmonds can hold.

I more so meant that when Menz went down, we already had lost Daisy & Ellard and had Yaz & Jamo hobbling around. So it was the straw that would break the camel's back.
