Crimso is more Bribie. You're thinking of Fraser
It would just be nice to get the rub of the green at our home ground maybe once a year.
Handballs to a teammate under more pressure rather than taking the responsibility to kick it were doing my head in. I don't know whether to blame the hand baller or the player calling for it so short with an opposition player on their hammer.
I reckon we got it against Carlton?
but yeah Sandilands was holding Stef all bloody day
Well he is nine foot tall.sand islandsSand islands always watches the other ruck at the center bounce before putting his arm out to shepherd.
Who did Bribie play ruck for?Crimso is more Bribie.
Melany?Who did Bribie play ruck for?
That's clearly what I meant. You're obviously very good at interpreting my posts and not at all prone to narrow or black and white thinking. Then again, we may as well just accept performances like today and against the Crows.
Dunno, I reckon a fit and firing Hawthorn would play keepings off with them. Geelong and Port* for that matter too.Wow Freo were awsome.... play that well without a couple of stars and they'll win the grand final. Walters is a freak
They steadied third quarter, but the defensive lapses and giving up multiple goals in very short amounts of time is a worry. Im not pointing the finger at the defence either, we get smacked in clearances and cant seem to stem it, it goes into the opposition forward line on a platter.I was much happier (relative term, I'm not actually happy as such) with this week's loss than the adelaide game. We were overawed early and panicked a lot however we fought back and almost broke even in the second half which is a good sign that we were able to knuckle down a bit more. Agree with previous that it shows we still have some way to go to be able to execute our gameplan under pressure. I was happy we were able to adjust though and limit the damage.
You're clearly wasting your talents. You should be in the entertainment industry.Quite a number of dud performances from the OPSM-sponsored specialists at home. As I yelled a few times - they should've gone to Specsavers.
The woman who sits three rows in front of us screeching insults at the boys better than any opposition supporter I've ever heard
Years ago we sat in a different section and there was a couple who sat next to us. We'd jokingly argue on the way to the game who would get stuck sitting next to her. She hurled abuse at the team at every mistake. Even called Leppa a "useless ****ing ranga" one day. Gave her a death glare and enquired as to whether she actually was a Lions fan. Wonder if she's still sitting in section 52?There's a chappie sits a few rows behind me who starts carping and whining about individual players if things are not going all that well for the team (which has been often, in recent years ). His fave whipping boys are Merrett and Moloney, although other individuals can randomly incur tongue lashings as well.
He's not a bad guy otherwise but it always puzzles (and disappoints) me when certain "supporters" vent their frustrations by singling out individual players for verbal abuse as though the teams' woes are all their fault.
I feel much more at peace when I engage in the traditional form of scapegoating........."SCREW YOU UMPIRE!!!!!!"
Can't believe there's anyone bagging JP. I always feel super confident when he's near the ball. Saucy maybe not so muchI've had to move seats because of one fans hatred of Joel, Jed and Sauce.

Sounds like a real opportunity for a young up & comer. Would even be worth offering services for nix.Yeah James, Pete Murray called said he had some work if you were interested.
