Just re-signing any coach willy nilly is a ridiculous practice in sports whereby sporting teams throw money away for nothing, with so many contracted coaches fired prior to the conclusion of their contract.
And Nathan understanding that we have missed the top 8 these past couple of seasons, after arguably inheriting the best team list in the competition will need to earn a contract extension as head coach.
It's a performance game. You can be a good coach, but ultimately it comes down to being a better coach than your peers in this game as that is what you are graded against. And that's the question with Nathan that he still needs to answer.
