Reece Conca: My word that was bad...

A bump delivered from behind that forced him into LeCras, which was delivered well after Cox was knocked out, not immediately after like you claimed. All you've done is proven that you have no idea. Now run along junior before you embarrass yourself anymore.
lol

Vickery was near the Eagles HFF when Lecras and Shuey bumped him, Cox was dropped on the Tigers HFF which is at the other end of the 50m centre square.

See the red markings for the 50m arc.

See the blue markings in the background for the 50m arc at the other end of the ground, Vickery was at the other end of the square when the brave Eagles players came into get even. Vickery really looks like he was running away like a coward too.

Now run along, your embarrassing yourself with your inaccurate claims about what happened.

Vickery act like he gets ******* shot in that gif.

Thanks for the laugh.

He hit a player from behind, unable to protect himself with an action that had potential to cause untold damage. He didn't aim at his back, and he was lucky he didn't hit him an inch or so higher given both were moving. He didnt strike out of immediate anger or strike out in a sense of danger in a contested situation, he ran a dozen or so steps and took aim. Thats an assault in any language. It was a premeditated and calculated assault. And if it happened on the street, he'd be looking at charges for sure.
He ran straight to him and hit him in blind anger, if you can't see that you've never been in blind anger before. Premeditaded is bullshit.

He had ten steps to quell his anger and given he wasn't in immediate danger himself, he deliberately sought to inflict an assault. Plenty of time for it to be considered a deliberate and premeditated attack.

Premeditated doesn't mean he goes home and plots. It means he took deliberate actions to perpetrate the act.

The only embarassment here is Vickery flopping like Lindsay Thomas on his best day.

Big, bad, bustling Vickery? The Richmond hard men of days gone by would be rolling in their graves to be associated with this pansy.

No wonder your club has been the AFL laughing stock for over two decades, Ninthmond LOL.

And before you answer take one last look at Vickery rolling on the ground semi lifeless and take a deep breath.

Ha so you watch a lot of football hey?
You see it ten times a game with Ruckmen, all ruckmen. Yes i am using an MRP decsision to justify it, they get it wrong 80% of the time not all the time.
It wasn't a cheap shot shot as proven. You have a problem with facts dont you Andronicus?

Actually I do watch a lot of football. A hell of a lot of it.

Signs you are badly losing your argument.........

1) You decide to arbitrarily use the figure of 80% and then suggest that because you want it it be true, your argument falls into the 20% simply because you deem it to

2) You decide to make things personal and question other peoples personality traits

3) You flood the last few pages with weak attempts to keep your head above water in response to every person that disagrees with you.

Dig up........

Ha yeah 3 great points, heavily supported by two great posters lol...
Nice try

The moral outrage in here is a laugh. So David "more things need to be dragged through the courts because I don't make enough money as it is" Gel-belly, is an elbow to the chest assault? How about throwing someone to the ground and lifting them up by the neck/head? If either of these things happened on the street they'd be called assault, wouldn't they?

The AFL allows assault to take place but not retaliation. Get your greedy teeth into that Gel-belly.

merely tackling someone in the street would be classified as assault.

Bump.

Seems, funnily enough, the message the AFL sent from this incident wasn't strong enough. Not sure how to embed with a fixed starting point so check out this video from an AFL Sydney match from where the link starts it from. 2 weeks and nothing more said, right MRP?

Edit: Alright, it wants to be difficult. Skip to 1:36:45 to see it.
