Is this our current situation then following today's announcement of the new contracts ?

Surely we are not going to move on more than 4-6 from the main list of those remaining in doubt below?

Gone:
- Tuck
- White (confirm tomorrow)

& Not signed for 2014:
- McGuane
- Nahas
- Big O
- Arnot (surely the safest bet out of these guys)
- Dea
- Lonergan
- Helbig
- O'Hanlon
- Derickx

Rookies : Williams, Darrou (safe), Verrier, Simon

Williams was drafted via the PSD so is on the main list and not a rookie.

McGuane is a free agent and can go to a club of his choosing without any compensation likely to be received by us. The only way we would get any compensation for McGuane is if he agrees to be traded as part of a deal which is probably unlikely as he is hoping to stay with the club, not leave.

Verrier done Williams safe Darrou maybe kept as the RFC are unsure on our KPP going forward and simon hasnt really developed but as an international rookie may be kept

Cayden williams is a rookie, drafted in the rookie draft not the pre season draft. http://www.richmondfc.com.au/players/rookie-players

With 39 on the senior list currently, lonergan will be demoted back to a rookie or delisted with knights coming back off the long term injury list as we like having 38 players on our main list. Take the players that have now left/wanting to leave: Tuck, Mguane,White and adding our one pick up in hampson leaving 36 spots. So that means we will need to delist one more out of: - -- Helbig (may be retained because has trade value to south australian clubs)
- O'Hanlon (most likely to be retained)
- Derickx
- Dea (good chance to be retained
- Nahas
Leaving Nahas and Detrickx, if we don't pick anyone else up during trade week or delisted free agency period or don't upgrade on just talent or pick 4 kids up in the national draft then one of Nahas or Detrickx will be retained to leave 38 players on our senior list.

And that player would be Nahas given we just recruited Hampson and are keeping Stephenson, and going on how Dimma was talking about Robbie, I wouldn't be surprised if he was still on our list next season.

Could it be Nahas has been given another chance with the Tiges? I think he can play but he has the wrong attitude. Also his a confidence player as well and he was under the pump last year, hmmm maybe... Nahhh

Nahas gone.
Derickx gone.
Tuck retired.
White traded.

Mcguane not sure, still waiting for the lions to make a god damn move and get him.

basically 4 gone and still an unknown on mcguane. How many do we need to delist? If we need to delist another player it'll mostly come down to Dea, Helbig and O'Hanlon. Most likely Dea.

Verrier from the rookie list I also see leaving.

We need to take a minimum of three picks in the draft. We have brought in Hampson, and McGuane, Tuck and White have left, so we need to delist/trade one more player. Will probably be one of Nahas or Derrickx.
Since Richmond don't rate this year's draft pool, I can see us drafting two juniors and upgrading Petterd to the senior list.

Both Nahas & Dericks should be delisted if no suiters
Dericks has been on the list 3 years and we have taken both Hampson & Stephenson as backup meaning no confidence in big X - GONE
Nahas - Unfortunately just does not have the required tools to be a small foward in a top 4-6 team and needs to be upgraded,No point keeping taking up cap/list space

We need to take 3 selections in the draft and we should take all 3 with 1 player being a junior ruckman , 1 Midfielder (#12) , 1 small foward/Mid

Wouldn't be surprised if we upgrade petterd but I don't like it and he should stay as a rookie for another year as we can upgrade anyway. Just on the ruck it would depend on who is coming thru this and next year. With Stephenson still going to play its not exactly a priority this year. if they do have a good prospect this year then by all means but if we can difer a year then that's ok in my book.

Next years draft pool appears at this early stage to be a deeper draft than 2013. It also has more KPP and ruck talent than this year.

Therefore draft a ruckman next year when its likely Stephenson will retire, upgrade Petterd with our third round pick this year, hope we get a half decent pick for losing McGuane and White, giving us pick 11 or 12 and the compo pick as live selections this year.

The clubs recruiting department do not rate the depth of this years pool so no point having more selections than we absolutely have to, especially when there is a better draft pool in 2014.

Arnot re-signed for 2 more years with an option for a 3rd a few weeks ago.

So 2 spots on the rookie list free up?

Verrier gone and Petts will most likely be upgraded.

It's a wonder why we haven't announced out delistings yet

Just a suspiscion : If Helbig/O'Hanlan have not re-signed and it's them not getting games or wanting more money etc at cause and not our lack of want for them, then the club may wait before delisting someone like Nahas or Big O etc - ie. if they don't sign then would we keep either of those?

Heisenberg_ Morro Equus DrMike this list needs to be updated for the 2014 season.

McGuane Nahas White & Derickx need to be removed.
Petterd to be added at least 2 year deal I suggest.
Dea Helbig Arnot & O'Hanlon all on at least 1 year deals.

^^^^
Lots of orange in this list
Players like Azza, Batch, Griffo, OHanlon, Arnot Helbig Deaand Astbury need to have breakout years
Azza will likely go retired so too Jakey King
Reckon Chrissy N will go another year beyond 2014

Hope we get kick ass pressure from the younger blokes to really create an atmosphere of everyone busting their gonads at 100%
