Playing the ps4 version now after playing the Xbox one trial via ea access, surprisingly there are a few more people on the xbone version currently that I can see 70 head to head matches in the lobbies compared to 58 in the ps4 version, but I think there were more people in each game on the Ps4 version, and no way to see how many ranked matches are being played.

Graphics are slightly better on the Ps4, nothing major but less blurry, and I think the frame rate might be higher as well, seems a bit smoother. Much prefer the xbone controller for this game, gonna take a bit of getting use to switching to the ps4 now, for me anyway. Hope I chose the right console to get it on, looking to sink a fair few hours in and get my pro up to scratch.

Does anyone know if playing online contributes to your pros progress and unlocks, I assume it does but haven't tried yet, just created my guy now.

The golf seems pretty good and the courses look lovely. Has that hushed golf broadcast atmosphere down pat which is what I wanted! I think I'll enjoy this once I learn how it works a little better and get to have a good run at it.

Was only able to play a quick 15 minutes or so last night, so I don't really have much meaningful to say.

Was a bit irritated that you have to do the prologue before you can begin your career as I wanted to spend my short time with the game last night mucking around with the character creator. Don't really like getting thrown straight into a big exciting moment of the game like that as I'm too s**t early on and it ends up being silly. In my case I had Rory CHOKE with 2 double bogeys at the end and it was embarrassing. The crowd kept making excited oohs and aahs too, I don't think they were programmed to deal with my shittiness.

Also there are terrifying slow zoom extreme close up video clips of Rory's Ricky Ponting/Richie Cunningham face, looking down the barrel and talking about golf, and his lips keep sticking together at the corners and it's a bit intrusive. I will splice those clips into the middle of a porno and upload it to x videos tonight.

Once the prologue was over I tried to make a lady golfer for my career, but all the heads look a bit like Adam Pearson hopefully EA makes some new heads and haircuts available. Oh well. Tonight I will play it properly.

Keen to get on the daily tournaments, that was my favourite part of Everybody's Golf on Vita a couple of years ago, even once left a spit roast with free booze to go home and play lol.

played online this morning (Live Tournaments), was extremely disappointed that once the round finishes you get thrown straight back the main menu. No Leaderboard, no nothing.

It would be nice to see where you ranked for the round.
 
I had no idea about Jimenez.
I thought he was some kind of frankenstein fantasy character created by the game like sweet edna.
Google search revealed he is real and looks like that.
Kudos to EA for using frostbite engine to perfectly capture human freaks.:thumbsu:
 
Game is ****ed. Cant do anything other than prologue and play now. Now everytime I try to play it game gets to the "EA Sports. Its in the game" bit and crashes telling me the data is corrupted. Have already deleted game data when it happened before and its happened again.
