The opposite of all that will happen.

At the very least, North won't beat Adelaide in Adelaide, we don't know how to.

o_O

Would hardly be an upset.

Carlton to beat the Tigers. Give it a 40% chance
Roosy to get the Dees up to a rare win against GC in R1. Nah
St Kilda to beat GWS at home. I think GWS will come out the blocks like last year
North to beat Adelaide on their home deck. See the Dees GC prediction
Geelong to beat the Hawks (order restored). Tipping Geelong to slide

Months away and teams havent been released but I'll give tips anyway

Blues just over Tigers
Gold Coast will beat Demons
Sydney will beat Bombers
Lions will beat Pies
West Coast will beat Dogs
GWS will beat Saints
Kangaroos just over Crows
Freo will beat Port
Hawks will beat Cats

How would that be an upset? Granted we don't tend to win over there much but we finished six spots above them this year.

As others have said, not one of those sides will win.

Tigers to beat the Blues
Suns to beat the Dees
Swans to beat the Bombers
Pies to beat the Lions ........................... hardest game of the round to get right
Eagles to beat the Dogs
Giants to beat the Saints
Roos to beat the crows
Power to beat the Dockers
Hawks to beat the Cats

FWIW (which is not much):

Carlton vs Richmond - Richmond should go in favourites - possible upset but i think Richmond will win.
Melbourne vs Gold Coast - Gold Coast should win will be a good side next year and likely to start strong.
Sydney vs Essendon - Essendon will upset and will win. Sydney don't start well traditionally in rd 1, last year they lost to GWS. Also Sydney at ANZ are not nearly as good as at SCG.
Brisbane vs Collingwood - Brisbane will win with their much improved midfield.
Western Bulldogs vs West Coast - Bulldogs should win as Eagles suck at Etihad.
St. Kilda vs GWS - I have no idea who will win - St.Kilda with 0 confidence.
Adelaide vs North Melbourne - North i think is a decent chance for the slight upset. This matchup will come down to teams selected though.
Fremantle vs Port Adelaide - I like Port for the upset actually. They've had some good recent experience at Subi and they will be able to prepare for this match for a long time plus they will be a great team in 2015.
Hawthorn vs Geelong - Hawthorn normally starts off strong. Geelong won't be anything special in 2015.

A lot of these games are pretty close and i think the betting odds will be fairly even in most of them so there will only be a few true upsets.

My head says we should beat Carlton, but my gut tells me it could be an upset. It's probably because recent history has us always managing getting a good lead over them by 1/2 time or 3/4 time but they pile on 5-7 goals to either over take us or for us to just scrape over the line.

Hardly any upsets there.

- Carlton beating Tigers is nothing new, although I think Richmond will win comfortably.

- North would be favourites to win so no upset. West Coast, Richmond and Melbourne all beat them at AO so hardly a huge task

St Kilda beat them this year so would be a huge upset

- Melbourne came close to them this year so it wouldn't be a huge upset. Minor upset.

- Geelong have made it a routine to beat Hawthorn during the home and away season so adding one more wouldn't be an upset.
