I wouldn't but I can see your point. I get the feeling Poppa and the club are a bit annoyed that most of the public have forgotten about it already with the ALeague in full swing and Asian Cup near. It seems like they need to remind people.

As much as they'd like to, WSW can't live off past glories forever. Their ACL win was about 8 games ago and it's mentioned every time they play and in every press conference they do.

It was the Unite match which celebrates Australian immigration and multiculturalism. It is usually played on Australia Day but due to the Asian cup was moved. The reason for the anthem was because there was also a citizenship ceremony going on in the prematch.
