The current eight teams need to be consolidated, the BFFCL used to be a great competition about six or seven years ago and also before that. It was as active as the fantasy footy competition (SFA) is now but unfortunately it has gone into a decline in recent years.

The teams at the moment need fresh posters and in general the competition needs an injection of life and activity. Encouraging some of the SFA posters to join the competition as well as advertising the comp on the cricket board as well as other areas would be the way to go.

How good was my cameo at the end there? :D

Great win Warriors, a good way to finish the one-day season even though we didn't make the finals. Our bowling as a unit was very tidy, especially larrikin who took three wickets from his 10 overs.

Our batting wasn't too flash but Quinz managed to hang around for a while, Keyser Soze got some quick runs but it was PrideOf who saved us there, batting very well with the tail to get us home. A good all-round effort from Covvy too with a couple of wickets and some good lower-order runs.

A nice way to finish the limited overs season, now onto the tests finals where we can hopefully make amends in the semi final.
