Nice to see WX back in form. Would Heatherly get a go this year? Elevate him for Carlton maybe?

It would be good to get him to play both the Brisbane and Carlton games as insurance for the finals if Frawley and Lake don't hold together.

Great win by the boys today

Thought Joffa was best of the Hawthorn players. Kurt was really good too

First time I've seen alot of the lads, Pittonet and Shem impressed me too. Might do a little write up later on what my firat impressions of some of the guys is

A few quick post match thoughts (before I forget  ). Although everyone for Box Hill looked good today against fairly weak opposition, I thought Whitecross played one of his better games for the season, seemed to get plenty of the ball although his kicking was not great on a couple of occasions. Simpkin was very good, laid a few really good tackles too. Grimley was great when he came to life, wish he could do that all game and every game! As mentioned earlier O'Brien was good. Best of the Box Hill guys were Lawlor and O'Donnell IMO. Interesting that later in the game they put TOB down back and Gus up forward.

Gus was moved on to the wing .

If only the seniors hadn't let the club down against Essendon and GWS, we'd be first on all three ladders (Again!)

If they can pinch 2nd spot from here on then I'll forgive them....Took us the best part of 10 weeks to awaken from our B2B premiership hangover.
