Some Port players went down in my eyes tonight, some really dirty grubby play. The Wingard tackle was worse it was very late and Lachie was defenceless. That and Trengove punching Lobb in his injured leg were just grubby

Nope, 1st 3 quarters I can agree, but the last quarter, they were swarming when it should have been usI disagree that we weren't as hungry. There was a lot against us today, including a better team.
I think we played pretty well mate. Losing Davis hurt us.
We all see things differently, but surely you have to consider the outs and injury toll would impact our run in the end?Nope, 1st 3 quarters I can agree, but the last quarter, they were swarming when it should have been us
We ran out of legs towards the end, Davis out, Lobb battling, General looked shot in the last. I thought the effort was good, just not our day. Port did some good stuff. (and some filth)100%, and I also think we played pretty well, but their last quarter effort was significantly better than ours

That ignores how we were down on players and rotations which goes along way to explaining why port were able to run over the top. Plus throw in the fact we only a 6 day turn around compared to ports 7 and playing away from home in front of a tough crowd it all adds up in the end
Griff was our BOGWatch the last 2 quarters I thought griff and ward were great, I think we are going to big in the froward line with Patton cameron sunshine and lobb I thought Patton was still worried about his knee taking small and gentle steps to the footy and every time lobb was in the ruck we lost the clearence. If we had our midfield in we probably would of won
Yes, probably Corr for Tippett. Will be interesting to see if Plowman or Marchbank get a crack next week.As I've said before, we need a mature 195cm+ big bodied defender for Davis... He is so injury prone. Who's going to play on Tippett next week? Corr??
I've hated them for 50 years. On the plus side I've got a new most hated team.
Even more than Lesser Eastern.
What a bunch of low mongrels.
True, but what other option? Downie?Corr is giving up 7cm and 15 - 20kgs.
That's my point... We need to bring in a mature stopper to cover Davis' inevitable injuries.True, but what other option? Downie?

Don't disagree that this has to come into calculations for EOY trade period. That's my point... We need to bring in a mature stopper to cover Davis' inevitable injuries.
He'll only play if 100%. They need him fit for the finals.Watch buddy make a miraculous recovery for this one
I'll put my house on it
Be interesting to see what happens to Trengove for punching Lobb on his injured leg.
